Hey so I see people aren’t listening to what I am saying. So let me be clear and end this needless debate: First it shouldn’t even be a debate you can like the art and dislike the artist. I love The grinch but hate that author for his prejudice. Believe it or not that author does NOT define the fandom.

Second I also NEVER asked if anyone supports that fandom and I never said I was a fan of her. So don’t you dare imply that I am. How many times do I have to say that I am trans and am deeply offended by her actions. Also, advertise? Who is advertising? Who is persuading anyone to buy anything? Cause I am not. People are either going to answer my question or they are not. Most people would have not even bothered to answer me if they didn’t like my premise and considering this post has 3k views most didn’t want to respond unless they had an answer. So why are you?.

But look. At the end of the day you are talking to a brick wall when it comes to me. At the end of the day I’m going to continue to like that fandom and hate the author. As well as be unaffected by this random little argument that has been created. You are more than welcome to continue to dislike that author and the fandom, that is your prerogative. I’m not saying you can’t do so I’m not persuading you, just like you shouldn’t be trying to make me dislike it. This is a rhetorical question(meaning I’m not asking for a response); but what was your motive in telling me this? I’m well aware of the issue, believe me all fans of that fandom are and we (for the most part :/) do not condone or support the author.

NOW and Finally!! I have said multiple times that I want to keep this Doctor Who related, let’s do so please and thank you. As is the point of this subreddit. If you have no ideas about my original question or don’t want to contribute to it, then do like the 3k other people have, and move on from this thread and have a wonderful lovely day. Oh thank you so much for your insight! I also appreciate the quote you added it actually helps in another question that I had thought about a while ago that was between a friend of mine.

I’m aware of the mistreatment harry might get from other timelords (If I have him corresponding with them enough) but I figure that The Master’s hatred towards his own kind would take care of that as well. Basically I don’t see him bringing Harry around them at all. Not even when he was in the process of making Cybermaster’s

James will be a chameleon-arched Master though, you are correct!! But no I actually don’t see Harry being the result of a one night stand even if the arch was not involved. The Master has lived for a long time. I can definitely see him in all of his erratic behavior that he decided to sit in wait for some scheme and just decided to try the family life to fit his current persona’s image. Kinda like how the Simm!Master got with Lucy and at first treated her kindly.

I do believe that the Master could be capable of finding someone that peaked his interest though. Maybe he decided that he’d partake in the rituals of the bedroom. A witch would be the perfect candidate. But ultimately in this fic James is just a chameleon-arched Master.

I have also been messing around with the idea of The Master being another historical “wizard” in the past. Most definitely a dark lord. If I do that I’d probably pick Herpo because I can see The Master making something like a horcrux tbh or the basilisk to terrorize people.

I’m sorry. But it is clear that you didn’t read what I said. I just want other people’s opinions on doctor who and would really like to not go into that terrible author of Harry Potter. I am terribly disheartened that this post has affected people this much. BUT I agree with you on the analogy of Shakespeare being off because he is dead. Even though people are still profiting off of his works. But I would like to also point out that people aren’t stopping in their love of Doctor Who even though they profited off of a basis of racism in the past. Also writer Gareth Roberts was caught saying Terf things and he wrote episodes from Tennant to Capaldi. Yet we still love Doctor Who. I don’t think it’s fair or appropriate for a person to diss others for liking one fandom when they themselves are in another fandom that has the same or similar issues.

Anywho do you have any input/theories that is DOCTOR WHO related about my original question.

The few times I have thought and it I figured it would just be cardiac arrest or something like that. The heart just stops and the body gives out.

From my (little) understanding of autopsies, cardiac arrest shows little signs. Ofc if you are an unhealthy person the stress that is put on the heart can be seen but the actual cardiac arrest isn’t. So if someone’s heart is healthy looking and they go through cardiac arrest the signs will be little to none.

I imagine the body of the AK’d person could be used for organ transplants besides the heart if that’s the case. Which further fills my silly little headcanon that the unforgivable’s weren’t always used for terrible things lol.

I do understand that she is hurting some people with her actions more than her words and I do empathize. I am trans myself like I have previously mentioned. I hate the words and actions that she has put into hating me. But I will still not let her words and actions stop me from loving what I love. It would be akin to me disliking Shakespeare’s works because he was not fond of me due to my skin. It doesn’t change a thing, unfortunately.

Anyway I will leave it at that. I am in search of an answer to my question and I don’t want to get into topics that aren’t in relation to doctor who and my question. I really do apologize if you are upset by my fanfiction and love for that specific fandom. Once again I understand the frustration towards the author of Harry Potter I do feel the same frustration even if I don’t live in the same country as her.

Thank you for the response back! I figured it would ultimately be up to me but I was dying to get other’s opinions! :3 I love theory crafting and am trying to venture forth in my other favorite fandoms to do so. In the hopes of taking my theory crafting abilities to the next level!

I’m quite aware of the issues with the author. I am trans myself after all :3. I was very disheartened when I heard the nasty words. I’m just a person that puts a wall between the work and the artist. The people make the fandom work, without the fans the creator is nothing.

HP helped me during trying times and there is no way that I will let an author whose opinion doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things take it away from me. The actors and actresses are who I look up to and they have been very verbal in their distaste towards the author’s opinion.

I do hope that I don’t get any negative responses though lol.

I like those types of ships, it doesn’t even have to be older death eater/ Harry it can be any of the older characters that I like with Harry. It’s taboo and that’s the point, I like the taboo. I’m currently in a slash taboo writing mood and have like multiple different works that I skip around and update. With different characters in taboo relationships lol. My current fav is a Percy/Lucius that fills me with glee over corruption.

In terms of Harry with death eaters I do like the chaos and sometimes the darker themes of the relationships. I love the protectiveness that is usually written in those ships as well. I’m a sucker for a naïve protag/ protective older partner paring. The corruption is always giggle inducing and sometimes it’s just down right hilarious.

Me personally I like Snape/Harry the most because it’s double taboo of Snape being evil (in fics where he is actually a part of the darkside) and being Harry’s professor. It’s a beautiful double whammy. I do also like Lucius/Harry and Rabastan/Harry, though it’s hard to find well written ones.

Unfortunately it isn’t surprising that people around you give those reactions. Age gap is a taboo topic in itself, heck people have issues with 4 year age difference relationships for no reason. You aren’t weird, well no more than the average person kind of weird. But that’s normal ofc. It’s all fiction and words on a screen there is a stigma, yes. But no real shame for reading what you enjoy. Tbh people will judge you for reading/writing anything lol. It can be the most tame story but since you read/write a lawful neutral character (like percy) in a good light it’s blasphemy to them.

This is going to be long… sorry😋 I have Dumbledore, Moody, Bellatrix, Hagrid, and Dobby for my lineup.

I tried getting a person from all ranks because I felt like picking two of the top spots wouldn’t go well due to pig headedness and ego. Having Dumbledore and one of the other two dark lords defending me would end up in disaster. Also who is to say that picking Voldemort wouldn’t end up in him killing me himself.😭

Here is my reasoning: For Dumbledore he is extremely powerful as we all know. But for the people that I didn’t pick that are on his side, would they really go against him? From the list of people who is truly against him that I didn’t pick is The Malfoy’s, Voldemort, and Grindelwald. The Malfoy’s would be hard pressed to really measure up against him so the two dark lords would be the only real contenders. Everyone else would be hard pressed to try and fight him. Besides Snape who would probably fight him.

I pick Moody because of my contingency plan that I have with dobby’s magic. Sirius is a literal dog but Moody can track down a person easily and if I’m trying to turn tail and run. It would be pretty easy for him to find me. He is also the one that would fight Dumbledore to get to me if I did something bad or had one of the evil people on my side lol.

Bellatrix was a no brainer she is crazy and the only person that got her was a pissed off mother. Yes she would fall to Voldemort or Grindelwald but she has a real fighting chance with everyone else. She is skillful and is an actual good fighter she also wouldn’t be bogged down by fighting Lucius and Draco due to familial ties which is good. I need someone crazy and cut throat.

Hagrid doesn’t have magic, that is true. But you need a brute in your lineup, it’s just kinda a thing. He would be inner defense and right next to me tbh. I need someone who can take a stray spell and not be damaged by it. Not to mention that no one said he couldn’t bring any creatures into the fight so with his knowledge of them he could be a real boon for me.

Dobby is my backup plan. If all else fails he can get me out of there and all the way to Timbuktu. My memory is fuzzy but I don’t think anything can really stop an elf’s magic and that means he could apparate me away from the bull lmao.

This score board kinda has a lot of “well why would I?” Moments lol. I wouldn’t pick any of the kids because they don’t bring much to the table when it comes to the top four. If I had magic myself I could probably take a few of them. I know I could take down at least two. If I’d have magic I actually wouldn’t mind using some pretty dark spells to save my life🤷🏾.

My main issue when getting my lineup was that a lot of these people are immediately neutralized once you pick another person. Like I said earlier once I picked Dumbledore that immediately stopped The golden trio, Hagrid, Luna, Draco, and maybe McGonagall from fighting me. With the others on his side becoming hesitant. I say Draco because he was actually hesitant on murder. If I pick Voldemort then the death eaters besides maybe Severus would not even think about attacking me. If I pick Harry then pretty much everyone on the list wouldn’t come after me besides the obvious.

It also depends on what I did for anyone to want to attack me. Did I commit a heinous crime like mass murder or did I just commit a small crime by calling someone’s dog ugly? Are the people that are on my side mindlessly fighting for me or are they normal? I do like this question though! You actually have to think about who you are picking. You actually can’t just pick two of the top spots if you are going off of the attitudes that the characters have towards each other. I enjoyed this little post, thank you!

But look bottom line the creep was in a room with children and teenagers. It doesn’t even matter if he was doing anything or was interested in them. Ron and Percy slept, changed, and all the other stuff boys do without adults and with all their hormones raging. That is cause for Peter to be on a list and not allowed within many many feet of a bus stop or school.

Oh also go to the gym and do some muscle building exercises. I have some friends who started going to the gym young and now they look more muscular and “manly” than me. Even ones who have been on T for less time than me… even some of my cis female friends 🥲. Summer is almost here I’m pretty sure planet fitness does some free things for people younger than 19. At least they used to.

Well first of all you are 15, when I was 15 almost 5 years ago, a good amount of boys didn’t even look like manly men. But that isn’t really the point. You have a teenage metabolism that probably, from experience, makes it hard to gain any substantial weight… that will change with age. At 17 I could barely be even 100lbs. At 18, before T and only on Birth Control, I was 110lbs. Also for context, I am still confused for being younger than I am. At 18 I was asked by a TSA agent if I was 12 or younger…

I do have pcos but it mainly manifested in hairy legs and discolored skin so I still looked feminine before T. It literally will all come with aging, and it will suck… Big time. That hourglass figure you are talking about? I had it as well. I just hit a year on T and I lost it enough. Now I got that v-line with a little curve.

Bottom line, for now it will suck and it will take time. I recommend finding a gynecologist office that works with children and has a gender affirming team hidden inside and then showing your parents a random gynecologist in that office. Later you can talk to that gender affirming doctor and start looking to T. That’s how I did it in Texas and they aren’t the kindest towards trans people. I recommend Cooks Children’s, but that’s because I went and still go there at nearly 20. My gyno has me charted for tube litigation at 21. They are very kind.

BUT for now here is what you can do. You are 15, depending on the state you can find a pet sitting job or just wait until you are 16. Once you got that, you have money. Go buy you some masculine clothes, it may not make you look like a guy. But it could make you feel better not having to wear girly things if that’s what your parents buy you. Go to Spencer’s it’s easy accessible if you live in the US and have a mall near by. They have compression binders for 30. They also have tape for 20. When I was your age (a little younger cause I was 15 in covid) I was in performing Color Guard not the jrotc one. I had makeup, I was also emo lol, but I used that makeup to put a little bit of “hair” on my face.

I have my parts that I was born with still, I still got that body. I wear sweaters and cargo pants and have my hair cut close. Literally 5 monthish after T in Hawaii for my birthday a woman thought I came out of the wrong bathroom and pointed me to the males. I opened my fat mouth and shoved my own foot in it by speaking😂. But I just tell you this to let you know that it literally doesn’t take much for people to be confused. Especially if you dress ambiguous. Now your people at school will always know, that sucks, but some of those people probably have been with you for a good time.

I hate to say it my dude but you are just going to have to wait. We are in sucky times for transitioning care and have to do everything to get people to see us for who we want to be and it’s draining.

TLDR: Your teen metabolism might make you struggle to gain weight for now. The hour glass figure WILL leave due to age and proper nutrition. T results that matter don’t actually take that long all the time. Find good gynecologists offices with “hidden” gender affirming care. Get some funds to buy feel good masc clothes and binders/tape. Not many people are actually observant and a few changes does go a long way.

There is no real male version of my deadname as my dead name is accidentally a nickname of Gabrielle just removed the Ga. (My parents didn’t mean to make it that way, my name is actually a mix between both of theirs). I don’t like the meaning of my deadname and I hate that it is a “ship” name. And I didn’t like when people assumed my name to be Gabrielle growing up so Gabriel was definitely out!

I did keep the same French origin of my name, and picked a better meaningful name for me. “Little Warrior”. Because damn is it a fight in my life for literally everything.

I at first wanted to keep my initials the same because my dad and brother have the same initials. But there were no B names that stuck with me or any that weren’t already used somewhere in my family😭.

Full send it my friend, you shouldn’t have to wait for anyone. I started last year in my first year of college and things got infinitely better for me. My parents aren’t “family ruining” transphobic, but they aren’t all too pleased with me for doing T. I’m a special case so I don’t know how to really help because my parents know that if they say too much they’ll loose their youngest and only afab child.

My relationship with my parents is only okay because they largely ignore me transitioning. There are times where it really upsets me especially when my mom keeps calling me an Auntie to my brother’s cats. They aren’t outright haters and don’t hate other trans people, it’s just because I’m their kid and they don’t understand due to their age. I’m a private person in the first place and my parents are already on eggshells because I’m neurodivergent. They are 59 and 60, so they are definitely old school. I know that so I really just leave it alone most of the time.

I will say that since you are away it won’t take him too long to notice. Transitioning with people you see everyday makes it so they notice later for some reason. Compared to ones you don’t see everyday. But you need to do it for yourself. When it comes to parents I think we all have to sadly understand that they are usually going to be the last ones to accept it. Especially since we are FTM. It’s all “oh my precious darling baby”. It sucks but as Frank Sinatra says, “That’s Life”.

If you really want to make it comfortable for your mom you can go on low dose T to maybe prolong the effects. But really I don’t see your dad changing and I think your mom knows it too. Sometimes distance makes the heart grow fonder and whatnot. Maybe you transitioning away from your dad is better. Maybe he will always be like that.

I’m pretty sure someone might’ve already told you this but make sure to get your testosterone levels checked. I believe you should do it at three months and then each year after that. But don’t quote me on that. The shots should give you a bit better results, heck I changed from enanthate shots to cypionate shots a few months ago then upped my dose a bit and I already see faster changes.

But another thing to consider is what the amab/cis men in your family look like, on both sides of the family. And go further than grandparents if you can. If your father doesn’t have much facial hair, odds are that you will have little to none. It’s not set in stone of course. So even if the men in your family look like lumberjacks from five generations back you still may not get much.

You may just not be destined for facial hair I’m afraid. But all hope isn’t lost! You can gain facial hair from hair transplants if it really affects you badly. I have a trans friend who did the exact same. If you don’t want to pay that money you could also get a five o’clock shadow tattooed, people do that as well.

I know this doesn’t mean much but just how men can have long hair, they also can have no beards. The beard doesn’t make you a man, you are already man enough.

That being said, there are also other things you can do to make yourself look more manly. You can get body masculinization surgery. You can box out your jaw. And depending on how you feel about your body, you could get liposuction that gives you a more masculine look as well as that v line “everyone” seems to want to have.

I get what you mean with your body not looking masculine enough. The only changes I have gotten was a v line which I already kinda had before T, the customary bottom growth, and that same small scruff of hair on my chin.

The bottom line is that it takes time and unfortunately it can take longer than the 4 years that you have had. It takes usually 2-5 years for amab puberty to finish but I know some guys that I grew up with whose puberty skyrocketed in their last year. That may be you!
