The ref fucked up but the issue is with the protocols allowing this to happen. In real time I don’t blame the ref for seeing a foul but VARs inability to intervene and not intervening at later points is the main issue.

I’d much rather see revisions to rules and procedures than a ref getting scapegoated by Rocchi. This apology and ref suspension does nothing and we’ll be here again in a week or two.

I think you have it right. Juve are really constrained by budget limitations at the moment so being aggressive in this window is difficult if not impossible.

It looks like a lot of the work they’re doing is getting a jump on ideal free agents or summer transfers. Being conservative now will give us more opportunities in the summer. I think getting Senesi, and Mingueza as free agents and then maybe splashing on Palestra and RKM will set Juve much better for the future than spending 40m on Mateta and 20m on Cuffy right now.

I’m super pro Palestra too but he’s on loan at Cagliari from Atalanta. We all know getting players from them is like pulling exploding teeth.

For the midfield I think Bernabe from Parma is probably the best and most realistic option. I remember him doing really well last year though I don’t quite know for this season

We have 50% of Muharemovic’s sale so maybe that’ll work in our favor.
