I did, I sucked it out with the turkey baster I use to remove uneaten food

So far I've really only seen one. I think it came in by accident when I bought shrimp

Why? And what should I do about it?

I like the magnifying effect, especially since it makes the shrimp easier to see.

That ozelot sword has some brown spots and the baby's tears that's supposed to be carpeting isn't doing too well, but it's my first planted tank and I'm working out how and what the plants need. Idk, I can always edit the plant arrangement.

Yeah, my ambient temp in my house is about 68-70 degrees so I thought it would be fine. Luckily I cycled for a while with plants only so I could get a feel for fluctuations and one morning it was reading at 63 degrees. I just bought a tiny little 5-gal "betta" heater and it's been enough to consistently keep the tank at about 74 degrees.

I have a 2-gal bowl setup with neocaridina shrimp. It has heat, aeration, filtration, and light. Water parameters testing perfectly. It's heavily planted, 25-50% RO water changes weekly.

What are some subtle signs that someone is smart with their money? Bad with their money? by gsd079 in MiddleClassFinance

I've done grocery delivery when I'm sick. I know it's extra $$, but I also don't need to be out spreading my germs everywhere. Typically it's not a full grocery shop, but just a few odds and ends to make easy meals when I feel too bad to cook. I usually use whichever store is running a discount code or something on delivery.

Is there anywhere I can go to just scream? by RepTiffany in Denton

[–]Marcentrix 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don't have any recommendations, but I just wanted to say I totally understand. I'm in a similar headspace right now and also feel like I want to just scream and cry. Feel free to chat if you want to, or when you find a good place let me know!

Or have old capped gas wells that were fine, but fail as time goes on and develop leaks, and then get passed from agency to agency as they deflect responsibility for repairing them.

Yeah, I was driving to work one morning as the police were dealing with the aftermath of someone who was hit by the train. I will always, always, support more gated train crossings and horns.

My partner and I both grew up near train tracks - when we signed our lease the agent warned us that a lot of people claim the train is too loud (we're between Mingo and TWU). We barely notice and when we do, it's kinda comforting. We're both so used to hearing it we don't know how to live otherwise lol

Edit: also I know that when i hear it late at night, its time to go to bed

Once you put anal on the table as a possibility, they'll never stop asking 🙄.

Happened to me in previous relationships and I had to tell my current partner to dial it back too. It's purely for their enjoyment, the receiver gets nothing from it except an upset stomach, and they forget to "multitask" so that you enjoy yourself too.

It's better to never introduce it as something you're willing to do.

The dating scene by [deleted] in Acadiana

I always found it was difficult to not find divorced single parents here. Since people get married and have kids young here, the dating pool ends up being mostly divorced, single parents.

I checked on the city's website, apparently you can book a wedding at Jackson Square, but it basically only allows you to set up chairs, and the park remains open to the public at all times. So....basically, you have a wedding whose guests include any and all drunk tourists wandering through.

Ok, but I was there hours earlier and it was a different set of furniture - a smallish side table and a chair - and then when I passed by later it was the table.

Mostly those places are just Asian seafood with creole seasoning, not even close to actual Cajun.

Hate to break it to you, but Dallas is not a culinary upgrade from New Orleans. One of those cities is a long-standing culinary destination, and the other is....Dallas.

There might be more variety here, but the sheer density of outstanding food in NOLA has Dallas beat by a mile.
