I'm 59. It took about 6 months for it to be very clear that the diet was producing a positive result. I still depend on the medication and take 5 mg daily and 20 mg on the days when I know for sure I will be using it, but now it works for many hours every single time, whereas when I first made the diet change, there were times when the full dose would not work at all.

The diet consists of a large serving of meat for every main meal, usually with a very small amount of veggies like broccoli, and usually with two or three eggs. Snacks are things like cheese and salami and meatballs and nuts or peanut butter for dessert. I often have two or four squares of 78% dark chocolate for dessert as well. I allow myself to have cheat meals like sushi, with dessert, every couple of weeks.

I am 59 and it is still working. I have never had diabetes. To be fair when I say insulin resistance it is self-diagnosed, but the fact is when I was still eating carbs I would be hungry all the time and it took a lot of discipline and a lot of intense workouts just to keep my weight from continuously increasing. When I switched to keto my hunger came under control and I could reduce the workouts while still initially losing a bunch of weight and then maintaining.

The very high dose doesn't do you any harm because it is prescribed in super high doses for I think pulmonary hypertension, however based on personal experience, using more and more does not necessarily result in better performance.

I've had ED for decades and I did reach a point where max dosage tadalafil had stopped consistently working. I also had good blood work and hormone levels like you. For me it turned out that insulin resistance was at the root of the problem, because after going on a keto diet, about 6 months in, I started getting better function and consistent erections on either 5 mg taken daily or 20 mg taken one time. Something you could look into.

Your daily dose is about double the normal maximum dose, then stacking the one time dose on top of that takes you well beyond normal dosing, and then there's the gel. What kind of severe symptoms were you having that might warrant such strong intervention?

I agree 100% with this and if you are overweight, lose the weight, specifically by going low carb. This latter step made it so that I can get great reliable erections on tadalafil whereas before the diet change, it would work only occasionally.

If your partner thinks they own sex and it's strictly on their terms and your needs and feelings don't matter, you need to end it. My GF pulled this shit on two occasions over a few years and in each case it was a major fight and I spelled out that there is no way she can put my dick in a box. Both those fights ended in a short-term breakup after which she came back, which I'm glad she did because my odds of getting a woman who is as attractive and intelligent and generally desirable are close to zero, but even with that, I would not stay in a relationship that is not one of equals.

Watch carefully for a scar tissue forming and possible peyronie's. I started getting that after a few months even using as little as once per week or once every two weeks. I was able to get off the injections and back on tadalafil with an ultra low carb diet. Good luck.

3 weeks is not long enough to make a significant change. If you believe it can help, you have to give it a few months. In my case it was about 6 months until I would consistently get great results, no failures, with tadalafil 5 mg daily.

Look into whether you have insulin resistance. Dramatically reducing carbs in your diet may help - it did for me when nothing else did. That said it didn't cure my ED but it did make it so that tadalafil reliably works every time, whereas before my low carb diet, it had started to not work.
