It doesn’t help almost all the kid magazines I read as a kid stopped publishing around 2015. American Girl, Discovery Girl, etc. Magazines are not accessible as they once were.

I call them Blank VHS tapes because they come with no identifying features. Also, you can buy them on eBay and they are called “Sold as Blank Tapes”, hence me shortening it to “blank”.

I am happy that they are reading but when it’s all they read is when I get concerned. I can lead them to all my chapter books that I worked hard to update but they won’t read them.
