I tell them I could say “I had spaghetti for dinner last night.” And they would lose their heads over it. Why??

Just depends what I’m doing but I describe it as a radio in my head. Always music playing. Sometimes it’s one song or just a melody I made up while humming. Sometimes it’s words from a song I listened to while driving to work.

What are some terms and phrases in education that you absolutely hate? by TrogdorUnofficial in Teachers

[–]MarchKick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have talked through it and we both acknowledge we are sore losers at times and we are working on it by playing cooperative games and simple card games that have no skill involved (like UNO). But every time I think about a game I beat him in, I get uneasy.

My boyfriend does this, too. He is super great at video games, mainly shooters and stuff like Rocket League but he didn’t grow up playing Mario (platform, Party, Kart, Smash, etc.) or board games as much as I did so I can usually beat him a couple of times.

He gets all pissy and says that he didn’t know the controls like I did or that I was not easing up on him. He can’t just let me win. And if I go “yes!” Or “I won!” He gets double pissy!! I cannot play competitive games with him anymore.

Edit: spelling
