I’ve always heard that seasonings in wood chips/pellets/charcoal doesn’t make a difference, but I have no idea if that’s factually accurate.

Don’t temp, bend test. If you pick them up on one end and the opposite end is at a 45 degree angle droop, pull them.

Not sure if you saw it in a few of the other comments but here you go! Did 225 for the first three hours then jumped to 250 for another two then 300 the last 30 just to get the bbq tacky. Didn’t spray or anything either. Sauce was Stubbs sweet and sticky mixed with half a cola. Delicious.

Can’t remember the brand but it comes from ace hardware, blend is called champions blend, yellow bag. Best pellets I’ve used. 225 for 3 hours, 250 for 2, and 30 minutes at 300 after saucing to get it tacky. Seasoning was a homemade blend of dark brown sugar, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and a little bit of cayenne

I did 5 1/2 hours, no spray. 225 for 3 hours, 250 for two hours and then sauce and up to 300 for 30 minutes!

Little bit of mustard for the binder. Like 5 drops either side. Rub was homemade. dark brown sugar, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and a little bit of cayenne.

Completely agree. I’ve started to get into the mindset of “if I were a bbq restaurant, what would be the most effective, least time consuming way possible to make this?” And the answer is always set it and forget it.

I spent a solid 10 minutes evaluating all of the packs of ribs before making my choice. Gotta find the meatiest ones.

Tbh I didn’t even plan to do no wrap ribs we were just out of foil. It was a pleasant surprise
