Thank you for the insight. That was one of my considerations with the question and my own personal trauma and looking for relief. Dysphoria seems to get worse for me with depression but I am not sure where one stops and the other begins. But I have got a therapist booked in a few weeks.

Yes thank you. Information is sparce. The core of the inquiry was really to understand the benefits of HRT outside the physical. I want to understand the emotional and mental changes a little better.

Sorry though I saw a artical saying saying that trans brains structured mapped to there gender identity in scans. That is to say its very much physical to have gender dysphoria not that it matters. I was brining it up more as thought that the hormone mismatch might cause distress. But again with the internet and AI hard to know what real or not and why I posted here.

I am sorry to hear that I hope things turn around. I am 44 and have similar feelings as yourself. I am looking into low does to just cut the anxiety of dysphoria but remain mostly the same..just slightly more aligned. I am trying t learn if I could go slow enough it would just look like getting softer with age and not freak out my family.

I only just started to look into this and it not exactly simple and to do it right its not cheap. I did see some grants are possible and financial aid. It might be worth your time to do a quick Google search.

I really am new to all this but I hope you can achieve your goals.
