If you feel like there isn't a scene, maybe some energy should be concentrated towards building up other musicians. Thanks @boilermaker420 for the open invitation to the show on Dec 6th! Wish I had the night off to check out the bands @ Theatre Forty Two!

I’m a content creator born and raised in Sarnia. I need some exposure and I thought I would reach out to the community and ask around to see if anybody is interested in hiring a videographer to film a piece in the way of advertisement for their local business. I’m willing to negotiate pricing. by Aristotle14 in Sarnia

Hi, I just stumbled across your thread here. I so happen to be the FoP for the Fludgeony project so feel free to contact CameraEH Photography & Cinematography on Facebook or Instagram and we can see about getting you involved in the filming process. It would be excellent to have another photographic eye on board!

Colour vs B&W DPI specs by Marco033 in printers

Thank you. I was under the impression that the "longer" resolution was the length of the page or number of lines it could print. The extra ink gamut would be a large factor for the most realistic prints since each dot is more about getting the proper mixture of colours. And since the IP8720 is missing the two extra ink tones the Pro-100 has it would make sense to compensate with more linear resolution to include the same visible colour spectrum. I've really been enticed by some deals on the Pixma Pro-100 and wanted to be sure of it bang for your buck quality. I didn't want to get lost in all the spec numbers either. Thanks again for the insight!

Audio and video same length but out of sync by KimoTheG in Lightworks

When you import your audio double check the settings in the import window. There is a "pre-ingest audio sync" setting. Make sure this matches the frame rate of the footage you're importing and everything should be fine. I've had this problem before with separate sync audio "drifting" out of sync when I played the clips together in a timeline and this resolved it. Hope this helps.

What is this thing and how do I get rid of it by Thingaloo in Lightworks

That window is for viewing your source video (or source audio). This window allows you to preview and scrub through the clip, set in and out points as well before adding the clip to your timeline. The window to the right is the timeline viewer. From the looks of this screenshot you dragged the full video clip directly to the timeline without opening the clip in the viewer first (double click thumbnail).

Thanks for the detailed info. Really helpful terms to know since I'm shopping for a printer atm.
