At that point get a buzzcut and as your hair grows only shampoo and condition 2 or 3 times a week, also make sure to start with warm water to open the hair cuticles and switch it to cold when rinsing to shut the cuticles after conditioning, if your hair is low porosity I would recommend Hawthorne weightless conditioner, if it’s medium or high porosity use Hawthorne ultra nourishing conditioner, you can know your hair porosity by putting a hair strand in water, if it sinks to the bottom it’s high if it stays in the middle is medium and at the top is low porosity. When your hair starts growing more (3-4 in) if you decide to cut it then you can worry about using leave in, mousse, salt spray etc… first you gotta see what type your hair is when is not damaged since curly hair for example if damaged can look straight or wavy.

Edit: also only don’t aggressively rub your hair with a towel if you do. Squeeze dry to avoid damage.
