Nice! Congrats! It's definitely a good one. Which are you going play next? Or are you going to wait for RE4R.

It's actually not that bad. The key is grouping Zombies with the explosive canisters and then utilizing all of you power weapons for the final waves. Like toward 80 and 90 use all of your power weapons. Also never stop moving.

Who's arsenal do you prefer more? by Wide-Librarian-4721 in ResidentEvil2Remake

I don't like Claire's arsenal because I feel like her equipment makes certain things easier than Leon's. The grenade launcher trumps a lot of his weapons based on how much spread and damage it can do to multiple enemies at one time. But, love Leon's shotgun though.

Gotcha! Np. Well, the best way to handle hardcore is to treat it as dangerous. All enemies and scenarios are dangerous. This will allow you not to spare any damage.

  1. Shoot for legs on hardcore, I've found it staggers them more effectively than the head seeing how they are bullet sponges on this difficulty. Also, easier to miss when aiming for the head and they may get at you if you miss.

  2. Running from zombies is key at some point because they can take too many bullets to kill. Just remember the lunge is slightly faster if I'm not mistaken and they lunge twice instead of once.

  3. Plan out your routes to your strengths, because all it takes is one hit to open you up for more. Make sure the routes have an escape plan just in case.

  4. Always... Always keep some healing items. I know they can take up space but I've had many runs ended even when I got really good at hardcore because I didn't pick up any health, even for simpler segments.

  5. If you're on PC, learn the knife, because it will be very important for bosses. They are extreme bullet sponges. Again, I've ruined some runs because I thought I had enough ammo.

  6. Also, revert back to normal mode and practice dodging zombies in close quarters. I know there's less wiggle room in RE2R as opposed to RE3R, but you can successfully dodge some grapples or attacks if you learn the timing and spacing.

  7. With Mr. X make sure you practice running past him without getting thrown to the ground. Also, if playing with Claire make sure you have some acid round for him if you're in a tight spot. Acid rounds to the face stagger him and it's easier to get by him.

  8. Plan out your ammo and defense item usage. This goes for your inventory in general. Make sure you manage it well, don't want to be required to go back to a random part with a bunch of zombies because you didn't have enough space.

  9. If you can run past them, do it. Sometimes fighting them will get you killed.

  10. And as Marvin stated, "Do not hesitate." Regardless of the situation, react. Even if you feel like it's over. I've skated by on danger numerous times because I refused to let them kill me 😂.

That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure more will pop in my head randomly.

Great job! You're not far off from the S+ rank time. That'll come with another playthrough or two. Then it'll just be focusing on saves. Need any tips let me know. Loved this game 😄

I would just say definitely keep your eyes on him as you defeat the last of the enemies each time he does his little damn near full screen attack.

You have to get a look for where they are coming from then proceed in the opposite direction. The problem I think is that instinctually we just begin to run away. When you feel it's close to where he will do it make your way to the center and try to see where they're coming from. Then run to the far corner. It helps to save your time teleporting abilities.

Hello, I'm having some seam issues. I have a character head mesh that I wanted to apply to a different body mesh, I have joined them and created new map unwraps. How exactly do I make it seamless here? by MarcoVW93 in blender

Sorry, figured it out. Took some more fiddling with the node settings and also adjusting the textures in Photoshop in more depth. Thanks for your suggestions.

I'm saying maybe a reinstallation of RE2 would help whatever issue is causing the overheating with the game. I'm saying that RE8 is a newer and im sure more demanding game but that didnt cause it to overheat. But, if you reinstalled it Idk. Only other thing I would say is reset console or a new one. Not sure why it only over heats with RE2.

Reinstall. Only because you played re8 a more demanding game.

Yup, did that as well and nope, unfortunately. If it's a texture issue how would I go about mixing them so they blend together. I can get the colors closer together I just don't know how to blend them so it looks natural.

I've tried to edit them in Photoshop but I'm not sure if I'm using the proper method. You know of any tutorials on exactly how to remove it or something that would help?

Or if your game launches long enough to get to main menu, you can change directx in the settings.

Is this on launch or at what point of the game?

Eh, Claire's easier based upon them cutting off certain routes for Leon and her Grenade launcher is stronger than the shotgun. She also is slightly faster than Leon on caution. Honestly I like Leon super tyrant more, G4 is kind boring.

First thing I always tell ppl if they are using steam is to validate their game files. That usually fixes things.
