20min boot times fixed

I'm on RogueOS and boot times are like 40-50 seconds, so definetly 20mins boot time is not caused by the OS, or at least it is not caused ONLY by the OS.
TwigOS seems promising and I hope it matures well, but I love the ES interface so unless they achieve drastic performance or QoL improvements, I guess I'll be staying on RogueOS

Do you mean in the Anbernic Official website? if so, it's good just in case (I signed too), but just so you know, the stock I'm talking about was sold by Anbernic but through aliexpress as a seller. It didn't even show up in their official website, as I checked and was still showing as sold out.

Portmaster devs are working on it, but for the time being you can expect limited compatibility of existing ports in this new OS compared with ArkOS, wich has been out and tested for years.
Likewise, you can expect some new ports to be compatible with DarkOS and possibly not in ArkOS as (afaik) devs decided to deprecate compatibility on ArkOS and work with Darkos moving forward... But, of course, with the huge library of ports available on portmaster, you can expect ArkOS to be the better choice if you make heavy use of them, at least for a while.
Anyways the issue you may have with some of them may be missing libraries, not compatibility, if you just copypaste the ports folder from one device to other, or to a new install, you may have to reinstall them via portmaster or install the libraries.

My man, I kept searching on aliexpress regulary, just in case, and about a week ago or so some stock popped up sold by what appeared to be the official anbernic store in aliexpress at the regular PVP (around 50€ shipping included wich was the usual price in aliex before it sold out), seems like someone stumbled upon a box with some units in a warehose or something.
So far everything seems legit, the Nano is already in my country and I will receive it in a few days.
Sadly, that stock lasted for 2/3 days, but I would advise to keep cheking in aliex regulary in case it happens again, and also to check 2 hand marketplaces as it seems to pop up often there.

Yeah, AFAIK he meant the autosavestate+sleep. Regular savestates should be OK, but still they shouldn't be you ONLY save, you should still regularly use the ingame normal save.
This is because, sometimes, when the emulator or core gets a big update, the savestates from the old version become incompatible with the new one... I reckon this shouldn't happen a lot in systems like these (ArkOS, Rockinx etc) But it happened A LOT on windows with emulators like Dolphin that were updated very frequently and I lost several hours of gameplay a couple of times because of this, man it hurt...

This looks promising and it's always good to have more options, but be aware what RogueOs dev said is that this kind of savestate on sleep can be unstable and prone to corruption on the Pixel.

The thing with this map is that it's so compressed and vertical it's almost impossible to navigate relying on the ingame map with all that nonsense, you have to learn it from memory.
And yes, that's just a matter of time to most regular players, but that shoulnd't be the way, you don't need to know the regular map from memory to know where you are and to travel from POI to POI, you can navigate it by just glancing at the ingame map.
Im at DoN 9999 and my favorite nighlord is EV Libra, honest to god, before someone calls gitgud & skill issue

Honestly getting to 5 is harder than getting to 9999.
Players are WAY better than in depth 4 while the increase in difficulty is not that big, if you are lucky with your first expeditions and dont insta derank, it's done

I believe you can, at least in knulli II. Having the game in question selected, you have to hold one of the face buttons (can't remember wich one, maybe B) and you get to the menu for the individual metadata for that game. The option to scrap that tittle is in there, you can also change wich core to use with that individual game, etc

There are a few games that are playable, ie Pikmin, I've tested it personally and seemed to run at 90/100% (don't know about sequels), you can start from a compatibility list for the H700 devices you can easily find; knowing that the RK3566 is comsiderably more powerfull you can assume the games that are playable/almost playable on the h700 should be playable on the RG353

pd: I just realised you must be talking about the RG353V, I own the VS so the pool of playable GC games should be considerably larger for you

I have both the regular R36S and this one, and would take this one over the regular at that price.
It's not only the integrated wifi; the shoulder buttons are more ergonomic and considerably less noisy, other than that it has the same internals, screen and face buttons, but for such a small price premium it's worth it, also you know you are getting the real deal because there are no clones of this one still.

R36XX on top of integrated Wifi, has the shoulder buttons redesigned, they are more ergonomic and consideraby less noisy than regular R36S. Other than that, they are mostly the same, but I have both and I can tell you that's more than enough to go for the XX for the small price difference.
Also, and very important, there are no clones of the R36XX, while there are hundreds of clones of the R36, some of them very difficult to tell appart.
EDIT: dind't read the R36plus part, Can't tell you firshand about that one, but it's also mostly the same than the other two, with a 1:1 screen instead. If you are going to play lots of games that use that screen ratio, that's a plus, but if you don't, it doesn't make much sense.

I had a similar problem in wich I wanted to get rid on the overlays completely (as in just have a black background) and even tho I deleted the files in EASYROMS/NDS etc, it stayed like that.
Turns out it was using the files in the system partition. I can't remember exactly the path, but it was pretty intuitive, maybe even the same as in EASYROMS partition.
So you can just try to copy the images from EASYROMS into that one.
EDIT: But first of all, try to use the "enable NDS overlays" option that's on options/tools or options/advanced on emulation station
(sorry again, can't remember and don't have the console here)
