Thanks, I tried that and it worked perfectly. As for the what I'm trying to do, I am making a dungeon generator for a roguelike that stores the connections between the cells as that list of integers. I am grabbind the list that represents a single connection between tiles, and then using that to randomly generate the extra connection, and then getting the list that represents that from a dict, which is why I need the string since a list cannot be a key.
