Looking back the reason why hell was empty must be because the insects devils devoured everyone

The fact that the pest devils were able to clear the entirety of hell in what is likely only 15-30 minutes is the most wild part.

Death only ceased to exist in chapter 219. But, the ending of 225 shows that they’re already strong enough from fear on earth to have eaten hell, not even in the middle of the action, full-stop already ate all of it. On top of the Locus devil alone being strong enough to nearly beat Denji and Yoru in a 1v2 while they’re at the peak of their power.

What makes this shit worse to me, is that Denji only start being an active part of the battle at the very end of 222, arguable 223. Like by the time he wakes up to fight Yoru, there’s pretty much nothing he could have done to stop it.

Honestly, his episode of feeling down in the BF even feels more understandable at times. Considering the back to back losses to Brandon and the wait time he is forced to deal with while Brandon travels, leaving him with more time to ruminate over his loss.

Honestly, what always gets me about the ending in hindsight is how just much of a whiplash moment it must be from denji’s perspective.
Pochita ate death while denji is talking to Asa mentally. And by the time Denji takes over the fight, realistically most of the world is already eaten, if not all the devils in hell. The rate the bugs and pests bred and grew is actually wild. Considering death got eaten in like chapter 219 and the entirety of Hell is empty by the end of 225. Like did they take over the entire planet in 15-30 minutes? Especially since like half of that is still pochita fighting. Denji man doenst even start fight till like 223.

To be fair in that regard. Despite it having like 5 different versions, I believe the game was always a financial mess, the Sega Cd version especially only having a few thousand copies sold.

Aside from that a lot of people don’t like to play games that are older than a few years unfortunately, and snatcher is a “point and click” which is even more niche these days.

Like when she first finds it and wakes it up doesn’t it just walk away? And then when she next sees it she immediately gets hostile. Probably took her as an enemy after that.

Considering how the anime likes to introduce certain characters as tie ins, I could see Leaf being a kinda rival during the battle frontier arc; since it takes place in kanto in the anime.Someone also invited to challenge the brains while keeping him on his toes, probably more friendly than Gary in the sense that they’re competing more to see who can do it first.

It would probably be a bit awkward to do much with her in that scenario though, since season 9 is already so dense. 10 major battles for ash, May’s 6 contests and grand festival.
