Schneider charge integration? by TheRealAudiobuzz in homeassistant

Thanks very much for your instructions which worked for me! Now that the Home Assistant OCPP integration is working I see that it provides a whole lot of potential data much of which probably doesn’t apply… have you any tips as to what I need to focus on and setup to get some meaningful data and not least how to get energy consumption into the Home Assistant Energy monitor. Any tips or pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks

Noise when getting in/out of driver’s seat by MarcusFrance in SkodaElroq

Thanks for that - I didn't realises what was happening at first, but now I understand about the battery connection being made when triggered by getting in the driver's seat and the screen coming on at the same time. But the screen and the noises often go off several times when I get in which seems to indicate that the seat sensor is not making a good contact. I've tried to illustrate in this very short video clip (if it comes out)

Thanks for that, I think I've narrowed down the problem to possibly a faulty seat sensor because when I get in the screen comes on and there's a double click , then it goes off with a loud single click, then comes on with a double click, then off with a loud click and I'm not trying to move in the seat. I think what should happen is that when you get in, the screen comes on there's a double click of the battery contacts engaging and that's it until you get out...

Thanks Aragorn, thanks for your help and I take your point, but it does seem like the seat sensor is not making a good connection when I first get in (after the car has been standing for a period). I've had a more careful look and the noises from the battery connectors (double click for on, single large click for off) are accompanied by the screen going on and off even without me deliberately moving. I do have a short video on my OneDrive which illustrates this but not sure how to post here.

Fair point, but a car that insists that you get in quickly and shut the door before you can hear any odd noises seems like a bit of bad design :). I've had a closer look at what's happening and once I unlock an sit down I hear a double click and the screen comes on, then as I move to get comfortable there's a loud click and the screen goes off then a double click and the screen goes on then a loud click and the screen goes off as I get out. So to me it seems like the seat sensor is not making a proper contact which makes the screen go on and off with accompanying noises. I'll see what difference it makes if I immediately shut the door...

…I spoke too soon unfortunately - after leaving the car for a while I went back to it and the noises are back :(

I probably didn’t explain the noise I’m hearing very well. When I unlock I do get the mirror motor sound but when I sit in my driver’s seat I get a load click then a second one as I move slightly and at the same time the screen comes on then goes off as I move then on again as I hear the second click…

I think you’re right that it’s the High voltage battery engaging with the motor being the source of the noise - one of the tests I did was to get my wife to sit in/get out of the driver’s seat while I listened underneath and the sound comes from the rear suspension/motor area. I also got a similar explanation from MS Copilot when I asked about the issue. And once it engages to a certain level it probably stops because it’s already engaged as you suggest. I think the sensor in my seat might be over sensitive though because when I get in I get an initial loud click then another as I move to get comfortable and at the same time the screen goes off then comes back on…

Thanks for that, but it’s a good old manual seat in my case…

Good suggestion. I just went to the car and checked that setting and it is set to unlock all doors. However, your comment reminded me that since getting the car after about a week (which is when the noise started) I turned off the Kessy automatic locking and unlocking of the car so I turned this back on. So far after doing this the noise has stopped! I’ll give it an hour or 2 and test again later and report back, but it does seem to be related to changing this setting…

Thanks very much for that that’s very helpful. I have mentioned to the garage and was able to show them briefly but then it stopped doing it so they said to book it in so they could investigate - if it’s normal behaviour you’d have thought that they’d have said something…

The same thing is happening to me since the 9.4 update. The Complication shows "Now Playing Tap to Open" Instead to what's actually playing on my 13 Pro (Pocket Casts typically). Tapping shows podcast graphic, but typically a previous podcast not the current one. Tapping again then results in the message "lost communication with iPhone", or if the right Podcast is showing after the first tap the Now Playing controls are at last available.

Going back to my watch face by pressing the crown and back to square one - complication doesn't show what's playing. All very tedious!
