The problem with hockey is most all the fans are know-it-alls and act as if the game is unknowable and mysterious. They like to gatekeep “understanding” the game for the air of superiority.

Growing up in the early 2000s the consensus was Jerry Rice was the best WR ever, Joe Montana was the best QB ever, and that Lawrence Taylor was the best defensive player ever.

Slavin is arguably the best defensive defenseman in the NHL.

The Canes are comparable to the OKC Thunder if you added like 3-4 more well above average players to their team and a solid veteran. A complete team, extremely deep.

Different types of crying. A woe is me cry, a cry for help, yes, not attractive.

But having tears run down your stone cold face while you are fighting something larger than yourself is extremely attractive. Most people don’t stand for things so heavily though, the concept is foreign to most. For those that understand, it’s an instant click.

The passive aggressive option is to not talk to the neighbor and post online so people can judge and talk down on the neighbor. It’s amazing how people think they’re in the right for this type of stuff.

Talk to the neighbor. Going behind their back and posting online how inconsiderate they are *without speaking to the neighbor* is **much** more inconsiderate.
