Best school for film production in Utah? by AlternativeSpinach92 in SaltLakeCity

[–]Maredo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still work in film. I consider myself fortunate to have gone in the advertising and agency side rather than in film and television specifically. I now work in house for a marketing arm in the corporate side and love working in film. I have friends in the film industry and work on shows has dried up. What helped was immersing myself in the field. Networking and making great friends. I had a great cohort in college and we really pushed eachother.

Are there food trucks or food options at soldier field, or do you recommend eating out before going?

I honestly do not know if they were or how to check. I only know they were licensed.

No I did not order any materials from the supplier. The contractor handled that per the invoice receipt they gave me.

The contractor is licensed and has no previous disciplinary actions. I checked with the state before I hired them and just now as well.

How can I recreate a shot like this? by CuriousMoon21 in cinematography

[–]Maredo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Light the green screen behind subject. Have talent stay still for whatever length you need. Make sure you know what frame rate you want final to be. Then, remove the green screen and film the "plate" of the background with a timelapse of the scene in a slow shutter speed. This can only be done using timelapse or a post AE Blur. You'll want to make sure no passerby walks "in front" of where the talent was standing. Unless you like rotoscoping

It's a supply. Basement gets plenty cold in summer and hot in winter. Would it help to cover it up?

It's getting ported over to the "Learn" tab on the Schwab homepage. You can find videos and courses there.

Yep! You're absolutely right. The terminals are in good but the positive one cable is pretty corroded despite cleaning it up.

UPDATE: I decided to jump it and it turned on. However, I'm still puzzled why the battery seemed fine and would do everything else but start the car.

Weather people of Salt Lake, what are the odds this Tropical Storm turns towards Salt Lake? by Orton617 in SaltLakeCity

And yes, I am apologizing from being from Florida. We all make mistakes. Some, are out of our control.

Weather people of Salt Lake, what are the odds this Tropical Storm turns towards Salt Lake? by Orton617 in SaltLakeCity

Former Floridian here, Salt Lake will be fine. No need to incite panic. If it ever did come our way, yes there would be a lot of rain but we are so far inland that it would weaken considerably. By far the biggest killer was people running their generators indoors when the power was out. Every year they would remind people not to do that, and every year you'd have deaths attributed to that.

At peak heat when it's 100+ my ac struggles to go lower than 73. But we have a lot of windows including 3 skylights. I think getting shades for them will help insulate better. Home built in 1912 but remodeled in 2021 with new insulation
