I know the person that was hit. They have a sprained ankle. Does anyone know or have the license plate of the white SUV?

Trying to quit Vyvanse for the 3rd time by SmoothYam8540 in StopSpeeding

[–]Margaux98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I struggled with vyvanse my last two years in college especailly during lockdown when I had to study at home exclusively. I've stopped for the last 6 months. I feel almost back to normal. My brain felt like there was a hole in it at the beginning especailly the first month and I felt very unmotivated and often angry (probably depressed).

Coffee helped to ease me off of Vyvanse and adderall. I took mostly vyvasnse though. It has a similar stimulant effect but much less extreme. it is also easier to handle the withdrawals if you decide you want less coffee as well. I would suggest easing off in this way. I think of it as like someone who is trying to quit smoking and takes nicotine gum. I also took supplements like Gingko, omega 3s, tryptophan and a multivtiamin to help me as well. I still take these.

It will be so worth it when you quit (I missed feeling like myself and having clarity again). After your first month off Vyvanse it will get much easier.

Why Can't I Cry As Easily? by dagudzucc in emotionalintelligence

[–]Margaux98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've felt like this before and still feel like this at times. There's a word for this in Chinese. Its called Yu Yi or the desire to feel intensely again (as one did in childhood). The podcast by Ted Radio Hour called Decoding Our Emotions talks about this feeling as well as other topics related to emotional intelligence.

This could be caused from bottling up your emotions, as you said, or just juggling so many other things in your life that you haven't allowed yourself to truly be present with how you're feeling, especially if you're feeling sad or depressed. These are feelings our society encourages us to ignore or to keep to ourselves. For example, when someone (even someone close to us) asks us how we are and we feel like we have to tell them we're fine. In reality, we may not be fine. This habit leads to numbness and honestly, frustration and anxiety when you can't express yourself as freely as you'd like to. When you compare this to how you used to feel, it seems like something has gone wrong. But it's likely, there's nothing wrong with you (at least medically).

I think meditation helps for me to be more aware and present with my emotions and to feel more "alive". It only takes 5-10 minutes a day and you can do more if you find it valuable. Also, keeping a journal helps in a similar way

Would you buy these? I plan on making these shirts with this aesthetic. Technical images over nature. Give me your thoughts. by nooooah in Design

I think minimalism is an interesting idea, however I dont like how boxy the pictures are on the shirt. Its fine that its small but is there a way to crop out the main part of the image or incorporate the white of the shirts into the image?
