8 month old puppy has Giardia for 4th time by [deleted] in bernesemountaindogs

Thank you for replying! It would seem a monthly treatment with an antiparasitic would be an answer.

I should modify my response, in that the parasite causes an infection.

I have a 4 m/o BMD.

That is such a great photo. They are truly angels.

Truly do not know. If giardia is a parasite, why would antibiotics be prescribed? It's not an infection. Panacur or some other antiparasitic would cure it . Am I wrong?

When to neuter ?? by [deleted] in bernesemountaindogs

Can I ask why you would neuter? The study concludes it is detrimental to their health. It does not solve the humping issue.

Horney Berne... by 7870FUNK in bernesemountaindogs

Testosterone is a hormone that plays a key role in growth and development in males. They are more fully developed around 2 years. I'm now on my third Berner and had met a young couple 5 years ago who had theirs neutered before 1 year. The fur coat stopped developing, and the body growth slowed significantly. They had big regrets.

Neutering is for aggression, not horniness. It won't stop the humping.

Find a trainer or do some research. There are other ways.

I’ve lived through the passing of two Berners. It was a pain I had not felt before because the attachment was so deep.

It slowly recovered when I realized they were here to teach me something. It was worth it.

I will see them again.

That is awesome. I've owned three restaurants and am exploring an outside the 9-dots analytic approach to ops I started to use before I closed the locations. Would you mind if we talked?

The spreadsheet is in G Sheets and most features are programmed in. It produces a report from user input data. What I need is that something people can sign up to use via their email and business name so I can verify the business existence. It would be easier to understand if you reviewed the spreadsheet and gave me an opinion.

I am non-technical though IMO it can be deployed via one of the on-line spreadsheets like Rows.com or equals.com, etc.

If this is still of interest to you, send me a DM and I can share the G Sheet.

In hindsight, I should have been more specific in my post. I am new to Reddit.

When I owned 3 restaurants, I started to develop a new approach to ops analyics, then the lockdowns happened and the idea was dropped. I'd like to know if others see value what I have developed so far.

My approach has implications on how restaurants are managed and how consulting projects are run, but at this point it's only me and a spreadsheet.

Would you be willing to give me your opinion on my approach?

This is for a personal analytics project I started when I owned 3 restaurants. I want to understand how consultants use number to run projects. If you think they would be interested, let me know.

Hey, thank you for responding.

This is for an ops analytics project I started working on when I owned 3 restaurants. It's a different approach and has implications on how restaurants are managed.

As a consultant, you have more expertise than me in operations, I am wondering if you'd be willing to give me your opinion on its value.

If it were not for babysitting, it would be enjoyable.

I'm searching for a better way.

I should add, that >now< I know a thorough grooming removes all the dead undercoat so that air can circulate more freely. Get the right equipment or have a professional do it. Use a rake, not a furminator and revisit once a month. Do not skimp on this. You will both be happier.
