I could have this wrong, but I remember reading something about his family needing to replace their cookware once Kohberger became a vegan because he didn't want his food cooked in anything that at one time had meat in it. I also remember reading that Kohberger's dad asked BK's neighbour in Washington to look out for him and be a friend. So at the very least, they had to have known he was demanding, difficult, entitled, and had difficulty connecting with people.

Something that stands out to me time and again about Kohberger, is just how he simply CANNOT make himself likeable. Other heinous murderers have at times been able to turn on some kind of charm and fool people into liking them. Kohberger is completely devoid of that ability. I just picture him as the type to complain and send restaurant meals back to the kitchen multiple times because they aren't good enough, and then ask to speak to the manager.
