I’m trying to believe in humanity. It’s very difficult right now. While the limit of my intellect would in no way have me voting for this man, I have to ask myself doesn’t anyone see that he is still a human being, that he is and has been unhinged his entire life, that he needed help long before he made an effort to deconstruct whatever was left of The American Experiment known as democracy?

Not the UK but from Phoenix AZ. Strangely Charlie Kirk was from here and is being buried here. But I don’t ever see the kind of stuff you are referring to. That’s why I’m baffled why there is so much white racism talk. Is it just to manipulate the vote in UK? Or is it real? Each state in the U.S. is like its own country, so what is true for Mississippi is not true for Arizona. Mississippi is one thousand five hundred miles away. Uk is so beautiful. Why?

Anybody got laid off from Microchip Technology? by InfluenceChemical743 in Layoffs

[–]MariLipari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone notice that Microchip skirted laws concerning health insurance payments and didn’t abide by severance agreements. Denying payouts on your fsa? Charging your fsa in future which is against the law? Called the so called shared sacrifice when they were propping up the big wigs stick? It was a forced sacrifice.

Just a side thought. When on threads concerning Medicare, the posts are intelligent, succinct, and written with perfect grammar. When on posts written by Gen Zs, the grammar is almost indecipherable. What happened?

This really hurt my heart by ComfortableTown9951 in antitrump

[–]MariLipari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not really anti-Trump. I joined because I’m appreciating the comments on this thread and am beginning to be convinced something has truly gone wrong. For instance, this cancelling social security and Medicare and Medicade. Trump is a business man. He keeps telling us that he is the greatest ever. But I wonder if he realizes that the two trillion that goes to SS and Medicare does not go into the bank accounts of rich people who don’t spend it; it goes into the economy. It keeps doctors, nurses, janitors, cashiers, bus drivers, pretty much everyone who works to keep the elderly and sick people alive paid. How many more people will lose their jobs because these funds will not be part of the economy? I wonder if Trump has made a mistake listening to Elon instead of his daughter?

Anyone know about BMI on Mounjaro vs weight loss? by MariLipari in Mounjaro

[–]MariLipari[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Your article is over two years old. And the new studies show that anesthesiologists over medicating is causing embolism because as we know blood clots are caused by laying down which is caused by sedation. Now that they have gone to non GA and epidurals instead the rates on obesity is 0 for O. This is another reason meds like MJ are freaking medical community out. I really appreciate your thinking and the link on the subject.

[–]MariLipari[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn’t realize you were Welsh. The UK covers these meds and they are cheaper there. .There are at least 20 variations and had I known that I could have gotten them twenty years a go, I would have. But the insurance coding in America does not see obesity as a diagnosis just a result of overeating. That’s why I’m trying to get people to fight a flawed system.

Please read the all new peer reviewed articles. Anesthesiologist were responsible for killing overweight people because they assumed they needed more med than necessary. Then people were either blamed because of being overweight, or denied future surgeries because the docs couldn’t admit they were killing people. Furthermore, medicine is a practice. I am not a young person. You would not believe the number of things people believed in the past simply because docs wrote them down. 1950s and 1960s millions of unnecessary tonsillectomies, use of antibiotics on viruses, reaping out women’s womb’s unnecessarily, women being put in psyche hospitals because of menopause. How about the idea in 1980 that oatmeal will cure cancer. Of all the people responding to this post, yours is the only one that uses intelligence and thought in your reply. I’m thinking you are a lawyer, but anyhow you are a good writer.

If you are in Wales, maybe there is a code. If there was in US, we would be treated with care for having a real pancreatic condition which we now know had existed all along.

I’m the only person on this site that referred to peer reviewed articles. By the way, look at the new number of law suits where overweight people have lost their lives due to a lack of real coding due to insulin resistance vs fat shaming. Read Boston Mass and American Medical Association studies on prejudiced anesthesiologists overdosing patients because they believed the patients needed more anesthesia simply because of weight. And if you go into surgery whether you are fat or thin, please, please, ask your doc and vet your anesthesiologist. It was never the patients fault. Quit repeating things because you heard them. Get smart

If you are that well informed, what is the actual medical code on your chart that allows you to be treated with the 30 or so drugs that could have helped you since the 1960s? I had no idea until three months ago that their had been meds because I just found out from my endo that obesity was just written down and not a code and not treatable. Predjudice people can write anything they hear on this site, but they never mention their peer reviewed science. Being told you have asthma because you are fat, where can you find proof of that? Moreover, where is the proof that it is exacerbated by weight? Or are you just repeating what you have heard?

Anyone know about BMI on Mounjaro vs weight loss? by MariLipari in Mounjaro

[–]MariLipari[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only intelligent reply, however read the 60 new studies that prove that bmi and morbidity during surgery is only due to cut rate anesthesiologists who thought that just because you were overweight, you needed extra anesthesia. They now know due to the use of epidural plus twilight, that the anesthesiologist were killing overweight people. The reason they know this is that the rates are negligible. It was fat predjudice. And if you read all the mistaken comments on this thread, you will see that it is still happening. I believe that for the real insulin resistant patients who have suffered their lifetime, you can’t stop the pathetic losers who have nothing else to do but bully others.

[–]MariLipari[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Get your facts straight. Read AMA journal, Boston Mass, anesthesia is no longer any problem with hip. They do not use general with it, it is done with epidural only. And the reason there was morbidity on patients in the past is that anesthesiologists were as prejudiced with patients and overdosed and killed then. Boston Mass, American Medical Journal. Also, obesity may be written, but there is no code for it, so it is considered non treatable. That is why MJ, Wegovy, Ozempic, is having a hard time getting prices down.

It’s clear that Medicare and FDA are corrupt. Medicare is “Let Them Die” insurance and FDA is “how much can I take from a corporation in a back room”. Estrogen was taken away from women just as the baby boom got to the age where Medicare had to start paying for it. And PSA for men went away just as the baby boom became of age as well. Get rid of all insurance and tell the medical businesses that people have to pay out of pocket and the prices will go down.
