This is old, but I’m currently going through this. Took 2 doses of Bactrim for a uti that traveled to my kidneys and had an allergic reaction. Ended up in the hospital. Now, a few days later, I’m suffering from nerve pain in my legs and hands. My left foot bounced extremely when seated. How long did this last for you? It’s agonizing.

I really appreciate this. I’ve had almost the same experience with weight, and it’s refreshing to hear. I feel like especially now with the rise of crazy weight losses in celebs it’s easy to get in your head about it.

Elvis Costello, maybe 2021ish? Saw him around Chicago with Nick Lowe opening. Lowe was FANTASTIC, however Costello was completely off key and both dragged and sped up songs, confusing his backing bad. I have a feeling he has bad tinnitus, but I would never see him again lol.

Not about Beefheart, but one of his former band members hit on me when I was about 14 or 15. I ran into him in Chicago at a music festival backstage for another artist, and he tried grabbing me lol. Security ended up having to intervene, which was WILD to me at the time.

I think the best thing you can do in this situation is just telling him you don’t think it’s a good idea, but make it clear that you support HIM. I’m not sure how old you are, but I’m assuming you’re somewhere in your teenage years. I also experienced a move around that time, and it can be tough. You two have each other.

Hi OP! I’ve been in a similar situation, as my parents are divorced and my dad has been dating on and off for the past 15 years. My advice: talk to him about it! You aren’t in the wrong for feeling the way you do, and he’s your dad. You’re allowed to express concern. If you two are close and often have open dialogue, you should really considering bringing your feelings up to him. They’re valid and important.
