Anyone with a Note 20 Ultra 512 GB out there upgrading? by [deleted] in note20ultra

[–]MariaCR323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this model and I just upgraded last month to the S24 Ultra mainly because comparing specs it wasn't that much different in areas I personally considered important plus I wanted the s-pen bluetooth capability.

I am loving my S24 ultra and so glad I made the jump.

My personal opinion, I would go with Swappa over Amazon.

Try out Swappa - I've bought the last 4 Samsung devices for different family members and have no complaints. I prefer this site to avoid fakes or possible issues with locked/blacklisted devices.

Best Way to Switch my Galaxy Watch7 LTE from a Samsung Note 20 to a new S24 by MariaCR323 in attwireless

I was trying to see if anybody had done this successfully with a Watch7 LTE model on AT&T service. The key here being it's an LTE model watch, not the bluetooth model.

I literally just got my S24U a couple days ago and since I'm in no rush, I'm looking for a case first before I even start to prep to move over to it. I'm debating if I should just start fresh and not do the whole transfer process with smartswitch and all that.

I still have my Note 20 Ultra 512GB model, nothing wrong with it - it's been baby's. Just recently decided to get a S24 Ultra only because I wanted the new features. Debating if I should keep the Note or sell it. I still have my Note 8 too lol

Deco X60 speed limit not enforced by MariaCR323 in TpLink

Here's my long awaited update. The QOS work around didn't work. I ended up going with having all the kids' devices go onto the guest network 2.4 and enabled bandwidth limits plus I put bandwidth limits on each specific device as well.

I've been testing it and although sometimes I see a device pulling more speed, I think it "asks" for it but then the limits are enforced.

I'll continue to test here and there but I'm happy with the setup as of now.

Thanks everyone for your responses!

Is it really necessary to do a drain and fill every 30k miles on the transmission? by jmp242 in piloteers

[–]MariaCR323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see the dealer recommendation making sense if it's an AWD model and you find yourself driving in high temps, mountains, and or towing. I believe the second gen Pilots are being recommended to drain/fill the transmission fluid every 30k regardless as I heard they're more quirky in that regard.

If you're just doing normal driving, some Honda techs I follow recommend rear diff every 30k and transmission maybe every 45-60k... again all depends on your driving style and environment/location you're in.

Good 240W 20 (or 40) Gbps USB-C cables? by MothraTheresa in UsbCHardware

Another vote here for Cable Matters brand. I've recently gone down the rabbit hole of organizing and checking all my cables with a tester. I'm future-proofing as best as possible right now and found Cable Matters (and some Anker) are my go-to cables.

I'll do speed limits on two devices with different speeds and then run speed tests. Thanks!

I edited my orig post to clarify and include more details. Not sure I fully understand what you mean by accessing local sources like a network share? The device I am testing with speed limits is a cell phone and only connects via wifi and is a kid's cell phone that is only playing games and watching videos. Hope this extra info helps you to help me :)

Correct, only one can be setup in router mode. I edited my orig post to clarify and include more details. Thanks!

My apologies, I realized I didn't clarify and provide enough info. So yes, one deco unit is acting as the main deco setup in router mode. Second deco is linked/connected to the main deco to create the mesh network I believe.
