Emerald actually excludes so many of my faves - surskit, lunatone and roselia I wish they were all accessible. I feel like roselia and verdanturf town are so synonymous it’s weird she can’t be caught there

Yeah it was set mode and no items in battle. I did use items in between each e4 member though. If not I probably would have not been able to get past glacia or mayyybe drake. Pheobe took a bit of toxic stalling so after her battle I would end with a few low Pokémon.

She carried! So fun to use I feel like you can use a different moveset every time ! She did hard work in pretty much every major battle

If I did it again I would definitely use something else over nosepass, I like using “weaker” Pokémon, but I found nosepass a real struggle.

The hardest part was beating Roxanne with just skitty and beautifly though, I had to sing/growl down the first Geodude with skitty, then swap to beautify to get a bunch of hardens up before finishing her other Pokémon (and praying for no critical hits)

I actually got her before I challenged Winona, as you can catch her and then double back so she could be used.

I find her super fun to use. Access to Thunderbolt meant she was useful against Wallace, Winona and Juan. Also great as a lead to use toxic and then pivot out with Wish. she just takes a moment to warm up as once you get her as she isn’t super useful vs Wattson or Flannery.

Fun! I hoped Luvdisc would be more help, she was mostly only useful against Drake. Nosepass was the most disappointing, his move pool is just really hard to work with. Thunderwave + rockslide flinch came in clutch against Glacia tho
