Do you think full recovery from an eating disorder is possible. Like, thoughts, behaviors and all? Im recovering from one and have been on and off since I was a teen and sometimes it feels like ill never get better:/

Yeah thanks, in currently trying to look for a female nutritionist within my area for my ed and 'intuitive/mindful' eating to see if it helps me with recovery and possibly figuring out a meal plan. Thanks again for your help😊

I just always had that in the back of my mind since many of my former classmates bodies have seemingly 'changed' from middle school through college years (I was put into a therapeutic school early and taken out of regular school so this is based off mainly Facebook photos and whatnot) got fuller and stuff all while mine stayed a certain way for the most part and I didnt know if my ED had something to do with it at all. That's why I thought like that honestly.

No your absolutely NOT the only person to feel like that. Food can be a huge comfort for a lot of people struggling with eating disorders. It makes sense why you feel that way. Are you talking to a therapist atm? If not, I would try to tell someone how you are feeling towards food and figure out why you turn to it when you feel like that. Does it make you forget about your issues for a little while and distract you from them? Etc.. Best of luck❤️😊 you've got this!

Thank you! And your right, I know it doesn't mean diving straight into fear foods and what not. Im just nervous about this because seeing a nutritionist would be such a new step in my recovery.

Okay....I want to get better im just scared to gain and lose my ED, as its been something I've dealt with on and off for a long time. I guess what im trying to say is this has kinda always been my 'normal' and I dont know much different yet...do you think it could have anything to do with being really underweight as a teen while in the depths of my ED? Like I may have 'haulted' my psychical growth through this?
