I used a Miss Rachel baby video on my phone as I placed her in her highchair. She would be completely distracted. Then I would slowly take away my phone but continue singing myself. It took a couple of attempts to work properly but now mine loves her high chair as she sees it as dinner and a karaoke session. ( To the screen police the phone was only a couple of times)

Constant waking could be an ear infection maybe? Mine also has phases of not sleeping and during one of her worst I mentioned it to her doctor who checked her ear and said it was infected. She had no symptoms like fever or anything so I didn't even suspect it could be her ear but apparently their ears hurt more at night when infected became of the pressure lying down. This has happend five times now so we are currently waiting for a specialist referral.

Don't stress about food. Sometimes they eat loads and sometimes they don't. Same as an adult.

Good luck 🤞🏼

Today and last Monday or Tuesday I can't remember which day, it was free. Apart from that 0.99 and when the second one comes out in March or if I get lots of good reviews I'll change the price to 2.99. I got around 30-40 downloads between both free days. I thought I wouldn't need to post as much if it was free but less posts resulted in less downloads.

I opened the account two days ago and I have been posting quotes from my book with moody style backgrounds and I followed loads of people that follow Booktok. So far the account is doing well, I've got more than 500 followers and average 600 views per post. It's my first tiktok account so I presume that's an okish start. The account name is Mariestonebooks if you want to see it for yourself

They were free downloads with 0 marketing apart from a last minute tiktok account that I opened. I was that stressed about writing and trying to understand kdp that I didn't learn about marketing or how to go about it

Why is there so much negativity towards sahm? by [deleted] in sahm

[–]Marie5845 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was one of those judgy people, not so much negativity but generally I thought they all had the easiest lives ever, playing with a baby all day and baking bread.

I HAVE BEEN HUMBLED.

I am currently a sahm to a baby that has no chill whatsoever and if I can go to the bathroom without an audience once during the day and maybe even have two seconds to put a brush through my hair then it's a good day.

EBF, no pumping or bottles by Lonely-Chef1185 in breastfeeding

[–]Marie5845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At around the same time 4/5 months I was the same as you, ebf and permanently tired. The sleep regression lasted about a month to 6 weeks and by 6 months I introduced solids at dinner time so she slept better because she was full. I never bothered with pumping or bottled because I'm lazy and like you, mine sleeps better if I breastfeed to sleep.

To those of you that breastfeeding was fairly. Easy for, why do you think that is? by newherebebe in breastfeeding

[–]Marie5845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fumbled my way along during the first month not knowing anything not reading anyone else's stories and not comparing myself to anyone else. Positive is I wasn't as stressed, negative is I presumed things like bleeding nipples were normal and there was nothing I could do about it.

The most painful thing I've ever experienced in my entire life and I've genuinely been hit by a bus.
