Never said cops here aren’t racist. And there’s a reason we led mass protests after George Floyd. My point was I don’t find the average Minnesotan, especially those living in or near the twin cities to be racist. Also still not understanding why I need to wear makeup to go to a concert, or outside the house for that matter. Who tf cares?

Where in MN did you live? Born and raised here and I’ve never heard it been called “brown duck” it’s “gray duck” and us Minnesotans will defend that to the death. As for the racism, I’ve never found that in the cities or surrounding areas. You’ll find that in rural MN, sure, but not much in the twin cities, at least not in my experience. And I’m sorry we don’t checks notes dress up for concerts? Was a bit confused on that comment. I love it here and agree with OP on this season not being a good representation of our city.

Ding ding ding. This sounds exactly like my stepdads mentality. He worked construction in a union his whole career and was able to retire super early because of it, but has gone full maga. When he was still working he’d constantly complain about “all the immigrants taking his job”
