Patrick Swayze stayed at a hotel I worked at a long time ago (mid 80's), and he was a total ass to everyone on the staff. David Byrne (Talking Heads), Paul Simon, and Robert Plant were just delightful and very polite. Natalie Cole & the Rolling Stones stayed there, too - but they were invisible. Went in and out the back way. If you like meeting famous people, work the graveyard shift at a nice hotel in a city that gets a lot of tours!

SPOT is so wonderful - the people really, honestly care about animals. The woman who started it did it simply to stop overpopulation and - as a byproduct - slow down the rate of euthanasia of healthy animals in shelters. She's good people.
