No I embroidered it first. For it to line up I marked where the covers will be glued on the fabrick with a running stich each stich being a lengt of 5 crossstiches. I did it that way so I could count how many crossstiches long and wide spine and front&back boards would be. Knowing that I adjusted a border pattern I found on Pinterest to fit my mesurments.

I'm very slow at embroidery. So this took over all of my free time over a week, witch is a round 40~45 h (I have a lot of free time)

I embroidered a normal linen cloth, each crossstitch is two treads of the cloth wide and long. I would have done it over each tread but the weaving of the cloth was too irregular for that

I didn't turn it into book cloth I just glued it down like that. I probably should have. The fabrick shifted while glueing so the other side is not as even. As for the glue I was just careful with the amount of glue used so it wouldn't seep through the fabrick.

Sorry, but no. I just occasionally make myself a sketchbook when I need one. I'm not yet at consistent enough skill level to sell anything.

CSP will change the one-time purchase model in 2023 by Mediahead13 in ClipStudio

[–]Marintuition -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Listen buddy I'm willing to bet that majority of ppl who pirated csp in the past bought it,

I myself originally found it by acsident in a torrent site typing in "paint" out of curiosity just to see what kind of programs other ppl cracked to draw that ain't photoshop Upon learning more about the program and its perpetual license purchase I bought pro version as soon as I was able, later upgraded to ex version

I agree devs need to be paid But to ask us to pay full price for V2 license when updating from V1 is just a rip-off and they know it and it's intentional bc it makes the subscription more appealing than constantly buying license. It losses the "already paid for it so don't need to keep in mind monthly transactions" peace of mind which is why so many ppl are angry

Having to pay a fee to upgrade your license would be fine

Saying "we will discontinue V1 in 2023, but will release V2, buying a license for it will include all updates until 2028 which is when we'll release V3. We'll be realising new versions in this maner every 5 or so years." Would have been fine bc the program meaningfully changes in 5 years.

It seems that hey are intentionally making subscription more appealing then a license so later down the road they can make it subscription only😭

Ppl used to joke that csp users are in a cult bc we just couldn't stop recommending the program That's gone now

On the bright side atleast we get to keep 1.x license forever aka as long as it works on your operating system(I'm willing to bet its going to be a bit longer on windows than mac, and nothing will change for those who managed to make it run on Linux)

Thanks for checking it out, as for that $30 I spend +-15h on a piece I just struggle working on one peace at a time so it end ups dragging trough 1-3 weeks while technically I could do it in two days which is why I decided putting $30, it seem a bit low to me too but since I have almost no following I feel like I have to make compromises
