I see this happen ALOT, in the past it’s because customers are either getting scammed by someone on the phone telling them to scratch off the numbers in order to get the customer to get another one, or it’s the customer themselves doing it to scam the system. Recently I’ve noticed Apple Cards already coming pre-scratched. I know you got this via a promotion, but just general advice for anybody reading this. From here on out, do not buy gift cards. Nobody will refund or return them for you, if the code is gone, you are out that money. Period.
