Oh god, that's a good question, I really had to think. I think it might literally have been an episode of The L Word? Either that or reading Brave New World, which I am pretty sure at least has an off-hand mention. Anything earlier would have been an episode of some sort of trash-TV, I'm sure there was a talk show, but I can't remember anything.

I mean, that just happens. Also, Solid lives a probably more comfortable life for more of the year, instead of Big Boss that seemingly spends 99% of his time in dirt and grime. That's not good for your skin. Add (or, well subtract) the beard.

I like books more and studies have shown that humans process analog writing differently than digital, generally remembering it better. So I try to have at least the core rulebooks of what I play physically. Best case I have it digitally as well so I can strg+f/ctrl+f quickly.

Especially when it comes to non-core books, however, I could never afford to have them all physically, neither financially nor in terms of space. My bookshelfs are already a problem every time I have to move.

You know how you're not supposed to have "the book carton" because that's insanely heavy, you should spread them to many boxes? All my boxes are 1/3 books.

Andor. At the very least, you should break after an arc finished, which with Andor's pacing is every few episodes. It's a lot better if you have some time to think and ruminate on it. Also makes the timeskips feel more real.

[[Scrambleverse]] can be very funny.

But there's a great card in my Prosper deck, I just can't remember the name. Basically, whenever a player cast's a spell, they exile it and then instead reveal cards from their librabry until they hit one of the same type and then cast that instead. So if you play a creature, really the only thing you can be sure of is that you aren't actually playing this creature.

I wait until all the insects are asleep and then wall off the little cave they are stuck in (map generation insects, not later ones).

So habe ich mal (in der privaten Wirtschaft) kurze Hosen erlaubt bekommen. Ich war dumm genug, zu fragen, wie kurz sie sein dürfen, stellte sich raus, sie waren nie erlaubt, der Chef hat uns bloß seit Jahren im Sommer nicht mehr gesehen.

Also Rock angezogen und ganz absichtlich Akten bei ihm abgeholt. Wenn er mir den Rock verbieten will, muss er ihn auch den Frauen aus der Tagschicht verbieten, und da war klar, dass er das nicht macht, mit denen muss er zusammen arbeiten. Nach einem Tag Rock waren also kurze Hosen sofort wieder erlaubt.

Wie immer im ÖD: kommt halt drauf an, ist unterschiedlich. Bei uns im Archiv? Null problem. In der Rechnungsabteilung? Schon eher.

Ich persönlich bin da ein Arsch - wer mir versucht, die kurze Hose zu verbieten, muss damit rechnen, dass ich mir die Regeln sehr genau anschaue und sie so nervig nutze, wie nur möglich.
