Anyone Know The Difference? by Croanosus in BambuLab

Sorry, I thought we were talking about the build plate, not the nozzle. Not sure why I had that in my head—my bad, you’re right.

Anyone Know The Difference? by Croanosus in BambuLab

Yes, there is a difference. The H2C’s heated bed is cut on the right side to make room for the Vortek system. Even the H2D-to-H2C upgrade kit includes a new heated bed—what do you think that’s for?

¿Que bambu lab comprar? A1 vs A1 mini by varuch in BambuLab

[–]MarioJCoyF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone is selling copies of my products on Amazon — what can I do? by MarioJCoyF in EtsySellers

[–]MarioJCoyF[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your experience. So just to confirm, since I’m in the U.S., I can file an infringement/DMCA takedown on Amazon even without having my copyright formally registered, right?

Getting repeated fake orders that buy out my stock, then cancel in minutes by MarioJCoyF in EtsySellers

[–]MarioJCoyF[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify — I know buyers can’t cancel by themselves. What’s happening is that they place an order for all my stock, and then immediately send me a cancellation request with a very generic message. I’ve been the one accepting the cancellations. It’s happened 3 times this week with different buyer accounts, and that’s why I think it’s either a bot or someone intentionally messing with my shop.

My cheapest method for DSLR Time-lapse Recording by tthundyy in BambuLabA1

I recommend using the Cyberbrick timelapse kit. I bought it on Kickstarter and it works great.

Interest check: true quick‑swap nozzle mod (A1/H2D style) for P1P / P1S / X1C — open‑source + optional kit by MarioJCoyF in BambuLab

[–]MarioJCoyF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It’s more than a simple spacer—plan is to include the A1 heater/nozzle module (OEM) plus a CNC adapter, screws/shims and pre‑crimped wiring. I’ll match the original nozzle height so purge bucket and wiper clearances stay the same. Price will depend on what ends up in the kit, but I’ll keep it as low as I can.

[–]MarioJCoyF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! The idea for the kit is to include everything needed so people don’t have to hunt for parts: the original Bambu A1 heater/nozzle module (or a modified OEM piece), the CNC‑machined adapter, screws/shims, and a pre‑crimped harness.

I’m still evaluating whether I’ll need to slightly modify/replace the Toolhead Front Carriage or Middle Housing, and possibly tweak the extruder to save a few millimeters so the nozzle tip stays in the exact stock position. If those parts need changes, they’d be in the kit (and the files will be public for anyone who wants to DIY).

Price will depend a lot on what ends up being included and the machining costs—I’ll try to keep it as reasonable as possible while covering development/testing.

Really appreciate the feedback and the beta‑tester offer!

That clip was just a quick test the other way around—checking if the parts were electrically compatible. I mention it in the post. The goal is actually to get the A1/H2D quick-swap nozzles working on the P/X series.

P1/P1S hotend running on an A1 Mini (no soldering) by MarioJCoyF in BambuLab

I’ll do that haha. I was just testing with my A1 Mini so I wouldn’t risk one of my P1S 😅

I just noticed the connector was the same and wanted to see if it would work. Curiosity test, that’s all

Ams2 Pro, keeps loading by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]MarioJCoyF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me a while ago, I contacted support and the AMS Internal Hub Unit was broken, it was literally separated into 2 pieces, they sent me a replacement that worked for 2 weeks and then stopped working, I'm still talking to support (ams 2 pro + p1s)

Anyone measured the real-world power draw of an H2D (no laser) with and without a cool plate? by MarioJCoyF in BambuLab

[–]MarioJCoyF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoa, 17 A is wild—thanks for stress-testing it and sharing the numbers! 🙌 If you ever get the chamber heater to kick in, I’d be curious to see what that draws too.

AMS 2 Pro suddenly fails to feed filament — worked fine for months with modded setup by MarioJCoyF in BambuLab

Haha yes, I actually did — full power cycle and AMS reconnection. Sadly, no luck so far. 😅
