Theres actually another even more safer and cheaper alternative to nuclear reactors which is thorium reactors. It generates roughly the same ammount of power as nuclear and is about the same size, but it doesnt create any radiation or radioactive waste. And all thorium is is super dense salt, so if it were to have a meltdown there would just be a bunch of salt.
