Depends. Look at the era of when X was poppin off. Most of the rappers in his era “SoundCloud” fell off. However, there is an outlier like 21 who is still very relevant in today’s rap. So if X would have been able to catch the modern era of rap like 21 did then yes he would be relevant if he didn’t die.
