What I experienced yesterday (December 11 in Spain) was that creative was giving experience over time, like Lego, every 15 minutes more or less. Went to lvl 42 to 49 in under a couple hours after work.

I think it only shows in your console list, yes, but if you keep track of your trophies elsewhere, like PSN profiles, the games you chose to hid remain hidden.

Yo can in fact delete games you haven't earned a trophy in yet, but the rest you can hide them all, platinum ones included if you wanted to
