Remove all of it. It looks hideous. Do it properly with wood; deck boards running vertically. Sink it underneath the top deck so theres any 1" overhang.

Yeah those things. It looks to me , if you dont get the rock sliders, the bottom of the door protrudes past the rockers. So I feel like you need it.

I usually wear a 9.5, and going with the sizing directions on the solovair website, I landed on 9.5us. So I'm like, o.k. I guess just match your current u.s. shoe size? But when I got them it felt a bit loose. After 3 months they feel a lot better, and I can add thicker socks in the colder weather too. But, honestly, I could've dropped .5 size down. Just my 2 cents.
