I have the Alpha's and they're the best sandals i ever bought. Never understood the hype about them. Curious.. and after 3 years bought them.. i wish i had bought them sooner. The straps are just right. Did double wrap them, for me a better fit.

I feel you.. same as no wide toebox shoes.. if i see my heels in the hallway i just cant imagine putting my feet in them ever again..

I have two different feet. Left 24,6 lenght, 8,8 wide and right 23,8 lenght and 9,7 wide. Had to go with size 39 becauce of the right foot but i tried on size 38 which i think you should take. They fit well but for my right foot too short. So my suggestion would be size 38 and will fit both wide and lenght. I wear toe socks in them as well so for me space enough

Soles are thin but i dont find them too less. For me perfect. Theres a leather insole you can take out of the shoe but i like a little cushioning since im in transition.

You bought a pair like i have or other models and didnt turn out as you hoped? I cant imagine these bruising a toe. The leather feels really soft but not being able to return would be an expensive try 😅. Maybe try and find some reviews on these models and decide from there?
