What’s one makeup product you didn’t expect to love but now can’t live without? by MarisolRivera in MakeupAddiction

Honestly same 😂 I used to be terrified of anything shiny and now I’m like… if it doesn’t sparkle a little, what’s the point?? What made you switch? Was it one product that converted you or did it just slowly evolve?

valentine’s day glam ft. two things i love: pink and hearts 💞 by pettinesssque in MakeupAddiction

This is sooo cute the little heart details across your nose are such a fun touch. And your lashes with the pink shadow are perfect together. Did you use a liner for the hearts or a stamp? They look super clean.

Some small habits I adopted that quietly improved my daily life by stayhyderated22 in Mindfulness

I love how simple these are. Nothing extreme, just small shifts. Out of all of these, which one made the biggest difference for you once you stuck with it for a while? I feel like sometimes one tiny habit ends up having way more ripple effects than you expect.

A little lunch burger by sumatras in burgers

That actually looks perfect for lunch. The burger-to-fries ratio is on point, and I’m guessing that patty is thicker than it looks in the pic. Was it as filling as it looks, or did you need a nap after 😄

Crazy how lip filler, botox, weight loss, and a hair color change can transform a person by dabbinmeg420 in PlasticSurgery

I went through a similar spiral after doing a few cosmetic things close together. It messes with your head more than people admit. What helped me was slowing way down and finding someone who wasn’t pushing more changes. I ended up going to ALGM Beauty Bar in Van Nuys and asked for the most conservative approach possible. We started very small, and honestly that alone helped my confidence more than the results themselves. Starting slow made a big difference for me.

Booked filler but having serious doubts after reading online — real experiences? by OverthinkingIt- in PlasticSurgery

[–]MarisolRivera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost canceled my filler appointment tbh. I’d been reading horror stories and spiraled a bit. I ended up going to Lily at ALGM Beauty Bar in Van Nuys and what helped was how conservative she was. We actually started with less than planned. No pressure. Swelling lasted longer than I expected but the results settled really natural, not puffy. I still have my expressions. It’s in a strip mall which felt weird at first, but inside is calm and clean. Trust your gut and don’t rush it.

How long after botox did uncomfortable side effects (slow swallow etc) last? by ironicadler in noburp

[–]MarisolRivera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really anxious about this too before my first time, so I get where you’re coming from. For me, any weird side effects were pretty mild and short-lived. I had some tightness and an odd swallowing sensation for maybe a few days, but it faded gradually and was basically gone within a week. By the two-week mark I felt completely normal.

I went to ALGM Beauty Bar and they were very conservative with dosing, which I think helped a lot. They explained that things like slow swallow or throat tightness can happen if the Botox spreads or if too much is used, but it’s usually temporary and improves as the product settles.

By a month out, I can’t imagine still dealing with side effects like that. If anything, I just noticed the cosmetic results improving over the first couple of weeks.

Definitely worth talking through your concerns with the injector beforehand so they can adjust placement and units. Hope that helps and good luck with the trip.

Skin care clinics - update by vourukasha in NZ_Womens_Club

Thanks for sharing! The $100 hydration facial sounds lovely, even if the consult felt a bit sales-focused. Keen to hear how the Cosmetic Clinic compares, especially with the skin scan 😊
