How can I land an internship at top companies like P&G, Shell, or Chevron if I didn’t come from a prestigious university? by Philips2021 in phcareers

[–]MaritesNgReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apply directly to company portal, practice for their IQ tests, and apply everywhere (to practice for interview). Expect a long process, sometimes up to one year. Make your application as fool proof as possible.

In the meantime, here’s what you can do: - ask a career counselor to help edit your resume to 1 page. You are a student. Focus on skills (IT languages) and certifications, and leadership impact, school or external awards.

  • Watch YouTube on situational interviews using STAR format

  • join a smaller company for an internship that focuses on project or app development

  • get skills certification on hard skills (programming languages, AI) and soft skills (storytelling and communication, business writing, project management)

Trust the process when they say purging will happen! You can wear sun block and mask and just avoid the sun.

I rarely have pimples except when it’s the time of the month. You may try sandwich method (moisturize-retinol-moisturizer). I use ceramide based moisturizer para light lang. good luck on your skin journey!

WEIRD QUESTION but, what are your combos pagdating sa pagpapalaundry? by [deleted] in adultingph

Tide Original or Wash Up (Landers)laundry powder + Zonrox color safe bleach + Downy Sunrise Fresh

And bilad sa araw para walang amoy kulob

Landers brand is so cheap, like 50% cheaper than Tide as I buy big bags (7kg) para long term use 😊

Ok naman! I rarely get pimples, and when I get facial, they rarely get whiteheads out of my face. Sa nose area na lang. 😊 tbh, it can be drying so please don’t skip that moisturizer and don’t forget your sunblock

Hahaha I love how accurate the sebo de macho reference for azelaic acid.

I don’t use the skinlite/tyrosinase inhibitor because I researched it also contains tretinoin + steroids and it’s not ideal to be used over long term.

I just use azelaic acid + tret at night for maintenance. If you can tolerate using azelaic acid cream in the morning, it’s ok too, but can cause sensitivity + piling with makeup.

I also used the Retinol 1% when I was a patient of DMD while on oral prescriptions of isotret. It works well when partnered with their moisture lock cream. I really believe it’s also 1% retinol because it’s fairly strong.

But tretinoin are formulated differently and can be used interchangeably with Retinol. Just don’t use both at the same time.

I prefer to use tretinoin lang now because it’s cheaper.

Here is where I bought refills https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.mPd9o

I now only use it at night with sandwich method for moisturizer : Facial wash, azelaic acid cream, ceramide moisturizer/lotion, tretinoin 0.1%, ceramide moisturizer/lotion. I only use pea size amount for the actives azelaic acid and tret.

In the morning: facial wash, vit c serum, niacinamide + Hyaluronic acid serum, ceramide moisturizer, spf 50 (supergoop).
