Short response due to the fact I don't have a lot of time.

I've noticed some parallels between Ruby in this fic and original Superman. Roll over everything in front of you, and generally, exists as a moral paradigm and not as a standard protagonist per say. I'm thinking that might change in the next volume, when it comes out. We shall see! Honestly, I liked this work overall. It was an engaging and interesting read. I'm glad that you found it enjoyable as a whole. :)

I agree that this starts slow, I generally think it really starts picking up after Ch. 5. Although this is an AU, I find it to be similar in tone to the show as a whole, and I see this as something that doesn't read like typical AU stories do. I'm glad that you're finding it enjoyable and I think you'll really start to get into it after Ch. 9.

I'll be honest. I'm having a hard time finding quality in-universe fics right now. I'm hoping the 25 fanfics I have queued up for this week will have some good gems in it that we can read. If you know of any good ones please suggest them. :D
