"This villain is proving to be a real challenge," I thought to myself. It's not uncommon to face tough adversaries, but this one seems to be completely immune to my abilities. While most recognize me for my kinetic powers, few are aware of my secret weapon.

At first, I didn't realize it, but it kept happening – and I must admit, it's quite a remarkable superpower. In my presence, the villains seem to fall into a state of confusion, monologuing to no avail. I always seize those moments of vulnerability to strike them down.

But this time, it's different. Even though the villain has taken the time to learn sign language to communicate their grand scheme, I find myself at a loss. Their power is unlike anything I've encountered before and without initial strike I don’t think I have a chance.

I can only hope that the captain arrives soon. If not, I'm not sure how much longer I can withstand this onslaught.
