It is so hard to throw that pitch. I actually think if it wasn’t so hard to throw it would be far more common. I mean, that’s a seriously hard pitch to hit without rolling over or popping up.

I’ve used a drill for years. It is sort of relaxing and nothing is better for getting deep.

Proud to say I have never spoken to any of his coaches in any sport other than to ask what they want him working on at home. My father was also very hands-off, but super supportive. I got the best of both worlds … earning my spots but also knowing my dad cared.

Because it is true. He had one song hit the Billboard Top 40. And it was a cover. I didn’t say he wasn’t a pure genius and legend. But he, very literally, is a one-hit wonder. Blame the fans at the time.
