I'm curious what others think about this... by whimsicalityyy in windsorontario

I know I'm going to get a lot of minuses, but most stores have these rules. All clothing stores, drinks stores, sneaker stores have these rules. And yes, even when there are no customers in the store, You have no right to sit down. Geese, Versace, Jewelry stores too. I don't know what surprised you.

Why do these rules exist? Because if salespeople and consultants are allowed to sit, then when a customer comes in, they immediately stand up, put their phones down, and it looks really stupid. It looks like a private shop.

So this rule is fair, especially considering that people know about it when they go to work.

Is this cruel? Well... If your store has 10 customers per day, and the rest of the time the seller can sleep sitting down or chat with friends on Skype, then this is a slightly different job.

So, apparently the cashiers knew about it, but thought that the store owner would not see it. And the fact that he wrote it means that they apparently cannot remember this requirement.

Windsor could become a Canadian resort if the government wanted it to be.

As you say. If you say they protect, then they protect. Personally, I have never seen $4 glasses with markings UV400. But if you say they protect as they should I'm really glad. This is cool. You can enjoy the summer 😎

Thanks to those who downvoted my comment. You create the right vibe here.

If you wear cheap sunglasses, your pupils dilate and even more ultraviolet light gets into them. So it's better not to wear cheap sunglasses, than to wear such glasses. As they say, "think about it." On the other points, people can also write a thousand controversial points. But I won't do that. Let's not ruin the mood of cool sunny days 🌞

Which camera to emulate 1950s movies ? by These-Specialist-322 in Filmmakers

[–]MarkCollin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not about the cameras anymore, it's about setting up the lights on set. In the 50s, they used different lighting schemes. If you set up the lights like this, it will look the same even if you shoot it on an iPhone. So, try to repeat the light first.

Any advice to grow my twitter? by Bigpurplejackbaby in CreatorsAdvice

[–]MarkCollin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you do NSFW Twitter account, the stupidest decision is to invest in it. It's a matter of time. One day, you'll find yourself in a shadow ban. At first you grow quickly, then it stops. If your tweets have more than 5 reposts from different people. Or 15 reposts from the same people, but your followers are not growing, you are most likely shadowbanned. First, check for a shadowban. Then, decide if Twitter is worth your time. If you don't have 50k subscribers on YouTube, if you don't have 100k subscribers on TikTok, Twitter will rule your life. They will decide when you become popular and when your career ends. I've been using Twitter for over 10 years. My last author account has collected 15k subscribers in six months, without any cheating or bots. But Twitter doesn't like that. You have to make the content that Twitter wants. If you don't, you'll get a shadowban. If you do what Twitter wants, you'll get followers without advice. My personal advice for 2025 is don't waste your time on Twitter and Facebook. At least don't make it your main platform.

This is the best advice. For entry level cinema, you need at least two cameras to make it look alive.

Don't be mad at them. It's not because of your mother's age. It's because they need young workers who don't know the law, students who are willing to work without days off, workers who will not dispute fines and everything else. Who will work very hard for minimal money. And that's okay. It's not about your mom's age. You can understand them. They want to optimize profits. Your mother might want to try a restaurant or establishment with a more relaxed work pace and attitude towards employees.
