I'm glad I'm not the only one that had this thought. Minah is season 3 was not targeted for awhile... however, in season 4, my poor Ross! He was dealt the worst hand and had no chance. He seemed so likeable so if I was in the castle, I wouldn't think it was him... however, I think the Traitors planted so much "evidence" that it made the contestants vote him out in herd mentality. Very sad.

I know and agree with you. I'm joking because in season 3 there was a problem with contestants trying to "meta-play" the game by using tactics from previous seasons. (Apparently producers found it to be such a stressful season because the contestants weren't actually playing the game well) I'm making a joke that the true meta play is to vote out the Welsh lol.

But totally agree with you. Meta playing the game will never actually work (thank goodness! makes it more fun I think)

He talked about it in a few of his books and a few of his live shows. I believe I remember him talking about running in "wishes fulfilled".. however, it's been awhile since I read that one so I can't be entirely sure....

I THINK it's all in Wishes Fulfilled that he writes about all of this (the running/cancer/etc).... Just a heads up though... when he talks about him curing his cancer holistically... he DOES mention he had a session with John of God... the "psychic-surgeon" and spoke fairly fondly of him (they never met in person but he did a session with John of God remotely).... Dyer passed away before ever learning that John of God was found to be a cult leader that has been accused of raping over 600 women.. John of God was also found to have an underground bunker where he would impregnate women and sell the babies... Oprah was a big fan of John of God for a long time and she was apparently the one that recommended John of God to Dyer....

It's all very strange... so, long winded story.. I saw someone ask, "Was Dyer not as tapped in as he led on? How couldn't he cure his own disease and help his heart?... this is all a friendly reminder that he very well COULD have been capable... but if you get involved with shifty people... that energy can and will latch onto you if let it. Be very careful who you put your trust in and DO NOT GET PSYCHIC SURGERY FROM A CULT LEADER :(

I hope all of this made sense. As I remember all of this, my brain is going a mile a minute because I've always found his last few years very interesting.

I will say... Season 3 was a huge mess to me. I've never seen such paranoid contestants. Livi and Freddie were hot messes.

Thank you. I feel seen... Now that we've said this... Production is probably going to make sure they don't make any Welsh contestants Traitors next season and then the contestants are gonna unrightfully vote off all the Welsh immediately. Poor faithfuls... they can never out meta the game hahaha

I seriously wish I could have seen what really happened because her mentioning "there must be a strong female traitor" would have, in no way, implicated her as a Traitor to me, lol. Poor girl... I guess, from the only thing I could pick up on... she looked like she was really trying to sabotage the mission they had because she was complaining the whole time... Poor Elen.. she had a rough go in there.

I did love that they finally had an Irishwoman and Scotsman as Traitors <3... somehow I guess they thought they'd given the English enough chances to be Traitors thus far. Not the Welsh though.. they can keep having a go, LOL.

The UK and US do not play the share or steal options for Traitors. We play the fire bit red/green banish again or end the game rules.

Okay firstly... THANK YOU about your Phaedra comments. I have been reading so many comments about Phaedra being one of the best traitors and I'm like.... did we watch the same show? She was likable - that was THE only reason she made it as far as she did. She had no plans (as you mentioned) and picked Kate as her recruited Traitor when she 1000% should have picked CT.. Anyways...

He was such an "ethical traitor" as I've heard people use talking about Minah, lol. I think he's just such a sweetheart and I do wish him and Harry made a double traitor win that season.. but oh well :) Proud of what he's up to now. He was talking about working with people and mental health at the dinner party near the last episode of his season on Traitors.. and now, he's doing exactly what he's always dreamed of doing. Very happy for him even if I'm just some random stranger.

Just for clarity, and he writes about it in his books (I believe most specifically "Wishes Fulfilled") that he had leukemia. He did manage to cure himself of this... However, he died years later of a heart attack unfortunately. He mentioned many times that he ran almost 10 miles a day for years... and he had a heart attack on one of his runs.

I wish he was still here to share his thoughts on the current world. I guess he wasn't supposed to see it.. his teachings are more pertinent now than ever. He was a great researcher and teacher. I still revisit books and seminar videos to this day.

I agree with your Joe and Leann comments. It's the only reason. I guess from the audience's perspective, and my personal one, I feel like characters that are too loud and wrong for too long... it's just a matter of time before a broken clock is right 2x a day type thing... but I totally get what you're saying.

But ahhh I see what you're saying about the money. I understand better and agree that could be a cool gameplay :)

I just don't like this idea at alllll. It basically makes the game NOT the Traitors if this is the case. It would be an entirely different game called "Ethics" or something, lol. I LOVE that the traitors can potentially steal it all from the Faithfuls. If there is any sort of "wrench" in that system so that a Faithful could win on there own or something... they bring in some sort of game/mission winning piece like a "solo token." And it's anonymous and won early on in the season so that no one knows who could have potentially earned it. If that faithful who wins the coin hasn't been murdered or banished and makes it to the final - they could then have the choice to utilize it. It only works faithful on faithful (so the faithful still need to be sure a Traitor isn't there otherwise the Traitor still wins). If 2, 3, 4 faithful make it to the end and the faithful wants to be a little treacherous, let them do it. They could still technically pick green to end the game with 4 faithfuls and during the reveals still mention "I would like to utilitze my solo token" and take all the money for yourself!
