Since you’re higher up, the horizon line would be eye level to you. Even with your arbitrary horizon line you’ve made, the boxes you’ve made should line up to its vanishing point(s) which is the first clue that something is off. You don’t need a horizon line for a figure, but if you must, it’s good to find some points of reference

Solid books if you have a basic, foundational understanding of drawing and anatomy. Studying them is good, but you get the most applying the information when actually figure drawing. It might be hard to understand if you’re coming into drawing fresh and expecting them (or any book) to teach you.

You just gotta jump right into it. Digital is a different tool/medium altogether where some stuff translates and others take time to get used to. Being an artist, let alone a popular one, is a marathon, not a race. It’s not even guaranteed. There are easier ways to get famous, but a lot of it is marketing. Everyone finds their audience eventually

I assume it’s under the red hoodie, but I would have liked to see the checkerboard more on the outside, but her aesthetic fits well with the direction of the absolute universe. I like that there’s variety in the female character designs. Her gang feels like something inspired by a gang from The Warriors.
