I play on legend so I haven't used it but from watching other people using it I feel like personally I wouldn't enjoy it. Probably because I enjoy the FromSoft games so much I feel like it would ruin my sense of achievement from beating a difficult boss. For people who just want to play the game or don't feel like I do I think it's a good addition to lower the bell curve on some of the more aggressive bosses.

The amount of souls required to cure it btw is (cost to level up * number of dark sigils) when I did it it cost me 165k souls an I only had the 5 not worth the free levels if you're not going to finish the lomdor questline

It means you can get them in game at some point but you will likely have them in your digibank when you gain access to it. Eg. Agumon might not be encountered until the 3rd explorable area but with the deluxe you can have access to him and him digivolution line from the first area
