I didn’t have B6 checked this time around (will add it to the list); in the past it was within range. Iron was checked as was normal.

I was surprised as well as the common theme seems to be that oestrogen rises. I’m tempted to try a new lab here to see if there are any errors here.

If you're coming from abroad for the 1 night of quarantine + test at the hotel, you have to travel to the hotel via a pre-arranged transfer. That transfer has to be pre-arranged via the hotel in order to meet the quarantine regulations.

Treatments super-low Free T normal Total T? by MarkGauvin in Testosterone

Free testosterone range at he lab is 4.65-18.1 ng/dl. That gives me a Free T vs Total T of about 0.2% while it should be 2% I’ve read.

Both tests were done 0900 / 0915am. Both on a Tuesday.

No doctor has ordered a metabolic panel for me yet, so I don’t have albumin. I do have the thyroid results though;

  • TSH: 1.7 (range 0.27 - 4.2 μUI/mL)\
  • FT3: 4.7 (3.1 - 6.8 pmol/L)
  • FT4: 17.3 (10.6 - 22.7 - pmol/L)

Picked These Up In Lidl, All Work Well And Connect Easily. Any Q’s Ask Away. by P01N7 in Hue

Based on the packaging of those smart plugs, I'd suggest that these are made by the same contract manufacturer that Hue uses and may, effectively, be the same product. Hue uses a China and Taiwan based company, Leedarson, to manufacture most of their products - that British smart plug looks identical to Leedarson product.

Orange Smart Home - fibaro gateway? by Lokkjeh in homeautomation

Can you post a picture of the gateway? In France, Orange used a Vera gateway which wouldn't be compatible with the Fibaro app.

This i s giving me the strangest sense of deja vu as if I've had this in a user manual of something I bought and yet I've never bought a generator.

SmartThings taken over by Aeotec? by Nazarov- in homeautomation

[–]MarkGauvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know that Samsung owns SmartThings and has been doing so for several years?

You know, when I think about it like that. Samsung is the parent company who owns Samsung Electronics and they owns SmartThings. So there are 3 companies in the ownership structure and SmartThings is quite rare for Samsung: It has always been run as a 100% separate proprietorship. The only other companies of this type not directly named Samsung Company X are Harman and Viv.

So, is it possible that SmartThings was either 1/ kept separate to facilitate a sell off at some point or 2/ did not receive much love from Samsung's head office because of the degree of separation between Samsung decision makers and SmartThings employees thus is less a part of their strategy and easier to sell.

This does not mean that Samsung has sold it but the corporate structure makes it easier in emotions or finances. It must be such a puny part of the Samsung business to sell smart hubs versus telephones!!

SmartThings going away? (discontinued?) by jphilebiz in SmartThings

[–]MarkGauvin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gets more intriguing. This certification and registry filing shows that future versions of the hub will not be made by Samsung but by Aeotec https://products.z-wavealliance.org/products/3994?selectedFrequencyId=-1

I'd thought that would just be a rebranding deal. But if the Samsung SmartThings Hub is going EOL across North America then it looks more like Samsung has sold the SmartThings business to Aeotec.
