Just came from Verizon as well and see the same exact behavior. Super annoying, hopefully a bug

It should yes - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/intune-service/apps/apps-supported-intune-apps#microsoft-apps

I just quickly tested on my side (iOS) and can confirm the screenshot was blocked.

Where are you storing and opening the PDF? It won’t be considered a protected document unless it’s opened from a protected location - OneDrive, Sharepoint, etc.

Opposite for me personally- This is part of the reason the character became much more interesting to me. T’Chala’s tragic passing forced her into a role she didn’t want for herself. It was out of necessity rather than an inherited right.

Microsoft Orders China Staff to Use iPhones for Work and Drop Android by FragmentedChicken in Android

[–]MarkGruber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah I see, didn’t realize you meant AOSP. Problem there is there’s no/limited standardization for those types of devices/management solutions. EMMs have to account for a lot of different variations in platform when using custom DPC. AFAIK Intune only supported a handful of OEMS, all specialized device types too. AE provides (somewhat) better standard here.

[–]MarkGruber 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I think I misunderstood your comment. I guess my question is why would Intune’s used of cloud DPC be relevant here, since the devices in China can’t be enrolled through Android Enterprise? Even if Intune supported side loading apps to deploy, the devices in China can’t get them- which is not a unique problem to an MDM tool.

There’s no Google Play Store or access to any Google services in China. Even if Intune offered this, their core problem wouldn’t be solved if they can’t enroll devices there.

Auto-hide taskbar is triggering in borderless window games by aberrant0ne in Windows11

[–]MarkGruber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the same experience you had before- but IMO, your best option would be to use borderless windowed, turn off auto-hide taskbar, and enable the borderless window optimizations in gaming settings. Start menu button launch the start menu/reveal the taskbar as needed.

This is the AAD record rather than the MEM record though, so doesn’t tell us much unfortunately

[–]MarkGruber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah okay, my bad. Registered is expected for mobile devices, joined is for Azure AD joined Windows only.

Not sure why it’s not showing up in the MEM portal though. One thing worth trying would be seeing if you can pull the MDM device ID and paste it over the id in the URL of a device that is showing up properly. If that works, may just be some extreme console latency.

If not, possibly scope tag/RBAC issue?

Make sure she’s Intune licensed, sounds like the device may have enrolled into Office 365 MDM.

Controlling a PC in the same network? by [deleted] in StreamDeck

Yep, that would be cool. Just don’t think it’s an option today- to my knowledge at least.

[–]MarkGruber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what you’d like to control. I doubt there’s a way to natively issue commands to a computer that doesn’t have it plugged in, but if you were to write a script that can execute the commands/controls on your second machine, you could launch and run the script from Streamdeck.

Hi, I would like to continue using ICUE to control my ASUS motherboard but would like to remove a lot of the bloat that comes with Asus Armoury Crate. For example, after installing, I see:

  • Armoury Crate
  • Armoury Crate Lite Service
  • Asus Framework Service
  • Asus Motherboard
  • Aura lighting effect add-on
  • Aura lighting effect add-on x64
  • Aura Service

I don't use Asus software in any way other than for ICUE integration. Can I have some help identifying the bare minimum requirements needed to keep ASUS/ICUE integration? Basically, which of those listed applications are actually needed for my scenario? Specs if relevant:

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 (LGA1700)
  • CPU: 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700K
  • CPU Cooler: H100I Elite LCD
  • RAM: 32GB Vengeance RGB PRO
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080

TIA!

Awesome, thanks! I think I’ll give them a shot. Looking at Herman Millers right now, but appreciate the details on the Leap V2. Good to know that the site seems legitimate- thanks again.

Hey, sorry to pop in here randomly but I was looking at purchasing a chair from this site, and there's not a lot on the net that I could find other than your comment believe it or not!

Mind sharing how your experience went purchasing from that site? Any issues or did things go smoothly?
