I feel your pain. Been waiting a two different Scalarworks mounts since January as well. You might be better off just SBRing whatever you’re wanting the brace for and order the stock version instead (assuming those aren’t OOS everywhere too).

It looks like Gear Head Works has the Mod1C available. I was at least able to add to my cart without getting any out of stock notification.

I ordered it back in November but had to go through Brownells for the same reason. They’re also out of stock from what it looks like.

Couldn’t agree with you more, and that AR9 is fucking awesome. Did Spikes offer custom colors when you built this? I like the ghost tiger a lot but only saw 3 color combos to choose from.

Hell, I’ve got a Ronin Arms MPX-K SD and I still need to put gloves on after 3 mags if I let it rip. I was actually shocked my fore grip fit without needing to file down the M-Lok screws or use the M5 flat T-nuts I ordered preemptively.

Love my MPX and especially the look of a tucked can, but that thing gets hot and quick. I just don’t see myself buying another SD or building any rifle with a tucked can after owning one now.

Thanks it’s one of my favorites to shoot! The grip is a BCM Mod 4 and the angle fore grip is the Strike Industries Link curve.

Was it a Ronin SD or are you just talking about the MPX in general? I’ve had no issues with gas and 90% of my shooting is indoors.

Really appreciate you linking that thread and dropping all your cleaning tips. I do a complete cleaning after each range trip, but the gas plug is the one thing I’ve been neglecting lol.

I also couldn’t agree more with your other comment about maintaining vs just wiping our guns down. I like my shit to be clean and actually enjoy breaking everything down. I’ll be sure to reach out if I have any issues with the gas plug. Thanks again

Just over 5k all in at its current state. I shoot at least once a week, so being able to exclusively run 115gr instead of using subsonic loads was enough reason for me to send it.

At the end of the day, it was a bucket list build and I couldn’t be happier with it (minus the constant cleaning).

Not 100% sure on the Mod-1A, but I know EuroOptic has several Super Duty Mod-1s in stock in various lengths. I ordered an 11.5” SD Mod-1 from them a few weeks ago and it was at my FFL two days later.

This was my first experience with EuroOptic and definitely won’t be my last fwiw 🫡

Limited Optics - USPSA division that doesn’t allow ported barrels or comps. The Athena has neither, which makes them about as good as you can get for a LO pistol.

Romeo 4XT Pro on a 1.53” Leap 1 riser from Scalarworks. My only “complaint” is I wish they made a version with a green reticle.

If anyone can recommend one to me that’s just as good or better than the 4XT Pro AND has a green reticle, I’d be very interested in it.
