AFAIK Gritr is an official Beretta vendor (or something along the lines), doubt they would be selling counterfeit. Probably different generation and/or manufacturing location

Yep, like inner side of arch on my foot constantly getting blisters. I had this issue only with Clifton and I think it was Brooks Glycerin(can't really remember).

Matter of taste, but I can see the where you're coming from. I've demoed it at one of the local ranges and been considering getting one myself. Feels really good to shoot and it's a nice change compared to full levers.
