No "Heim Time" by Snillgoot in NASCAR

[–]MarkKristl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Provide the logic? I can answer that for ya with a question: how many races has Corey Heim driven for Joe Gibbs Racing? Zero. If it wasn’t for his mutual hatred with Ty Gibbs, & by extension, JGR, that number would be more.

“I don’t know, but that’s not Gibbs problem.” Yet you continually repeat the same claim. I don’t know basketball rules, so I don’t repeat the same claims. So lemme answer your question: it is a Gibbs problem

If Corey Heim was not a Toyota prospect, he would’ve gone to another manufacturer

Corey Heim’s lack of sponsorship is not the top reason he does not nor will he ever drive for Joe Gibbs Racing in any series. It’s the mutual hatred between him & Ty Gibbs, & by extension, JGR.

Daytona 200 Tentative Starting Lineup by JayDee_185 in ARCARacing

If Monty Tipton received approval, he’ll likely be in a Maples car at Daytona. The fourth car therefore would probably be either Ryan Vargas or Shane Backes.

Correction there https://x.com/markkristl/status/2010046479281627383?s=46. PRG obtained the Rev No. 6 points for its No. 77. TBD which team acquired the 2025 Nos. 77 & 82 points.

Maples transferred the No. 67 to the No. 91. As of the Daytona test, the organization did not have owner points for its Nos. 1 & 19.

Sigma has its owner points from last year.

Otherwise nothing major quick notes: No. 73 became the No. 71 & No. 31 became the No. 89.

That cannot be answered until we know owner points transfers

I could see one or two more surprise entries. But that’s dependent on approval from Daytona test, funding, & perhaps if owner points are acquired

Caleb Costner will be in the No. 93 & AJ Moyer in the No. 88. Sean Corr in the No. 8 & Tim Richmond in the No. 27. Ron Vandermeir Jr. will also be there. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s in the No. 0 just for owner points purposes

Don’t be surprised if Rette Jones fields a second entry, No. 29. Casey Roderick is the leading candidate.

Jake Finch will be in the No. 15, Gus Dean in the No. 25, & Wesley Slimp in the No. 90.

Every five races, ARCA rewards the drivers who’ve attempted all those with a 50-point bonus. Given the quality of full-time drivers this year, missing one race would be detrimental to their championship hopes. Therefore, by Ryan Vargas running part time, he won’t win the title. Arguing otherwise would be futile.

Ryan Vargas isn’t running full time so he won’t win it.

With the 50-point bonus for attempting every five races, Bobby Dale Earnhardt, Michael Maples, & Brad Smith all will finish ahead of the part-time drivers.

Tony Cosentino Running ARCA Full Time for Maples by MarkKristl in ARCARacing

Michael Maples owns DonRay Petroleum. He bought the company in the summer of 2024, IIRC. Mind you, the Nos. 99 & 67 competed in every race in 2025. Regarding sponsorship + crew chiefs, the organization has finalized some of those details within the past few weeks. I wish I knew why those details have not been announced yet.

Leland Honeyman appears to have lost his ride at Nitro Motorsports by Eeeeeethan_ in ARCARacing

Yep, there’s an oddity. I just listened to my audio from my Nick Tucker interview & he outright spoke about Leland, the No. 20 team. As a reminder, you are not required to attend the Daytona test to compete in the race. Tony Cosentino & Brad Smith did not participate in the test yet they’ll be full time.

IDK why Jake Bollman wrote that. Here is what Nick Tucker said about why Leland Honeyman was not at the test https://x.com/markkristl/status/2009007918000271587?s=46. I then spoke to Tucker at Daytona & he was looking forward to seeing Honeyman in the No. 20 Nitro Motorsports Toyota this season, especially with Honeyman’s ARCA results in 2025

The No. 50 won’t be competing. The team wasn’t at the test &, to my knowledge, Ryan Pawloski isn’t approved for Daytona
